Lohit's a genuinely nice bloke.

it's funny how they all seem so much stronger as candidates when you see/hear their stories!

Well they really kill people, whereas Katie just commits character assassination, so they're still ahead in the baddie stakes.

Lohit is lovely (and good at business).

Lohit's also asking himself a really important question - is Sir alan right for me?

Nobody thinks Tre or Simon are threats.

So this is who "they" think is their main competition:

Simon = Kristina/Katie

Katie = Kristina/Tre

Kristina = Katie

Lohit = Kristina

Tre = Katie

From this Simon comes across a bit of rich fool, Katie just baffling person full of hate one minute and fawning the next, Lohit just hasn't made enough of an impact...leaving Tre and Kristina as the strongest candidates.

i think simon and tre came out as strongest in this episode. do you think they put the candidates in a particular order for today's show?

I actually thought Katie came across well, with Tre a close second.

lovely programme. In depth profile of remaining candidates. Simon or Keistina should win!

Very interesting, Katie seems the most feared contestant! I like Tre's wife

.. this programme reminded me how sinister and insincere Katie can be. I believe Nick is right to suggest she is "dangerous". She doesn't inspire trust. Does that make her an ideal candidate? My jury is still out on her.

Lohit is almost the antithesis of Katie's personality, but both appear to be highly capable and talented.

It was alphabetical by surname.

All the candidates seemed to come across a bit better than on the show. Except maybe Lohit who come across well anyway (though interesting to hear Margaret's opinion on him). I also found myself warming to Kristina and admiring her more, though I think it showed that Katie is probably the best-qualified candidate. If SAS wants to hand something over to someone straight away without having to molly-coddle them or reign them in, then the ladies surely have to be in the final two.

It was really interesting that this programme was made this year as I don't think that similar programmes were made for the first two series. Does anyone think that it was an attempt to head off tabloid 'revelations' such as those that were the result of Michelle's victory last year. It could be said that what happened last year really pulled the programme down to Big Brother level and jeopardised it being taken as a more serious business programme. By doing this biography-type programme and revealing more about the remaining candidates perhaps they were trying to appease the hunger for details of the apprentices' private lives which lead to tabloids offering huge amounts for tabloidised versions of their life story once the programme is finished.

If he wants someone to teach its Tre on raw potential - but he says he doesn't .If he wants someone to get on and do something its kristina or Katie on the basis of which makes fewer mistakes, which will get on with it and who will fit in. If he wants someone to follow instructions its Lohit.

Simon and Tre could hardly be called a safe pair of hands. Lohit is safe only because he hasn't decided much.

Katie or Kristina might make some sense on what he's said he wants. Got a feeling his answer won't make much sense though.

But Tre claims he knows it all and so doesn't feel like he has anything to learn from what I've seen.

Or put the other way it puts the whole picture on the table. Last year the character issue (reinforced by the fact that she had done a similar job to the one on offer ) arrives from nowhere at the last minute but is decisive for Michelle. this year the story makes more sense because the big possibly decisive chunk is now known to the viewers.

I thought it was a very revealing programme - definitely felt I got to know a bit more about the candidates than on the weekly shows. Actually liked Tre! Thought Simon came over as a dork (even if he has a huge IQ). By the way, was I imagining things or did he say "I can bring four qualities...." and then go on to list three, which included numeracy -or was that a Joke??? Katie always looks very chunky to me - cant believe she regards herself as a athlete - she looked much skinnier running along the beach. Why would she want a £100k job working for Sir Alan when she is already earning £90k???? Lohit has an interesting background but no-one seems to rate him at all. Kristina is also very driven - but again seems to be doing ok at the job she has at the moment. Why would you put yourself through all that. Also, I thought the whole thing about girls being sent into convents to have babies was a bit over the top. I live in Ireland and know several people who have children aged 18 and older who never felt the need to head off to such a place. It certainly may have been the norm in earlier generations but those days are gone. It was obviously her family's decision.

Thats another problem I agree. He has been looking suitably sheepish for SAS recently though?

Yup. If only he'd admit that he does still have things to learn than he may be in the running. But if he claims in these interviews how great he is and how he doesn't need to learn anything then I can't see him winning.

I agree that this was a really interesting programme, not only did you get an insight into the candidates but also found out a little more about what is important to Nick and Margaret.
