Do they still do a celeb version of What Not To Wear?

I like Simon. I think it is obvious how Katie has made her way up the corporate ladder, didn't realise Kristina wasn't working class (think it has something to do with her cackle of a laugh), Tre I hated at the start but I have really warmed to him in the past few weeks, Lohit is sweet but I don't see him being cut throat enough for business but then again Sir Alan doesn't always go for that type.

Still can't decide who will win or who I would pick, I think Kristina has a lot of skills but they might be right about the lack of creativity as she doesn't have many ideas herself although she can usually spot a rubbish one and can fix problems. Simon I have a soft spot for but I think he lacks focus, Tre would be a nightmare as an employee I think but I like him, Katie I just loathe and don't think she is half as good as she thinks she is. Lohit...I just don't know if he has IT but he seems so nice. He would be a lovely boss but I can imagine people taking advantage if his good nature

I'm so annoyed that I missed this show!! Did it show Katie with her kids? I can't imagine her as the mumsy type at all.

yes although they didn't show her full time nanny that normally takes care of them... there was one funny thing just after the 'I found out I was pregnant so did the New York marathon' bit where you could hear her correcting her her daughter 'no darling, it's truck with a T not an F'..shame didn't hear what the little girl had said!!

One thing that really puzzled me in the programme was Nick saying that Katie murdered Adam in the boardroom and that this got him fired. I think Katie made herself look a complete twit (red-faced, charmless and hectoring) in that particular boardroom scene and that Adam's sacking was entirely based upon his own actions/inactions and not attributable to Katie at all. In fact, I think Sir Alan was aching to fire Katie but just didn't have enough reasons to do so in that particular instance - particularly as Adam had just run out of chances.

I must admit Tre's footage was a revelation, I really liked him (and his lovely family) and understand him a lot better now although I don't think he's the right material to be the apprentice.

Nick was right she did murder Adam. She only came across as red face etc etc to people who don't understand just how she made him look about 2 inches big.

As for Tre's lovely family - er forgive me, but when was Tre's family ever on the programme? His friends were, but his family??

Having watched the Katie go as red as tomato and then resort to patonising talk like "sweetie" in the boardroom while Adam kept his cool I would hardly call it an assasination.

In fact it probably did a great deal of damage to her chances as it showed to Sir Alan that under pressure Katie is likely to come over as a tantruming child rather than a professional business person.

I think he just couldn't justify keeping Adam on the show after his string of defeats and his claim the week before that if he were project leader he would prove himself.


So the woman that the caption said was his wife, and the child they said was his kid that he was playing with in the park weren't his family??

yes, it's not like Tre randomly approaches kids with their mums in parks and start pushing them on the swings!

Yes good point. I had forgotten about them. Funny though how people think his family is lovely and yet Katie's are stupidly named etc.

Also, Katie did assassinate him. Yes the "sweetie" was patronising, but that was part of the assassination, along with the "slow slow slow" comment. And don't forget the assassination came only in retaliation to him making things personal. She offered him to take her on with anything to do with business decisions etc, but warned him that if he wanted to go down the personal route, then he had better beware.

Now that didn't do her any harm whatsovever in my eyes.

Plus it made for great telly.

It showed she can't keep control. She also allowed her personal dislike to show through - and the 'personal comments' she made weren't even justified (so what if someone speaks slowly? And the Pinot Grigio comment - look at SAS's reaction to that).

Now compare to Kristina's cool, calm takedown of Paul - which she managed to do without jeapodising her own chances later on.

Methinks you need to get to Specsavers unless you are watching a version of the Apprentice in another dimension. Beam me up Scotty!

I disagree, if you're from nothing you have nothing to live up to, coming from a more priviledged background, you have the pressure of expectation which is pretty ugly.

I think Simon clearly is intelligent, did well academically, got into a good career path, but in some way cocked it up and as a result is now rather directionless whilst running one thing or another to pay his way. The Apprentice looks like him trying to take an opportunity to regain direction and success having messed up, I'm sure he'll be appreciative of the opportunity and do his best not to muck up. I wish him all the best for the final, thought Kristina is a great candidate too, but were she not to get it, it should not be such a great loss to her as it appears it might be for Simon.
