I would guess given the broadcasting rights of the various providers, most likely. I know from my time with Sky TV that they only have the broadcasting rights for the UK digital footprint (England, NI, Scotland and Wales), but have a special licence with Republic of Ireland to broadcast there as well. So anyone who was watching Sky TV out with that area (holiday home in Spain) was watching it illegally.

im not sure not necessarily.. uploading the videos and the websites are probably doing something illegal but techniqually if we were to stumble on something its not really our fault..

Yes it is illegal - but not criminal. The chances of a view ever being sued for watching a stream are pretty remote though.

I've just been watching Boston Legal from the afore mentioned site, the quality isn't great, but it is still watchable, I'll certainly be going to that site again.

Why do so many of them have japanese or other subs? (i guess because they are uploaded from Japanses tv? but why not from US/UK tv then? )

And is it normal for it to take for ever to load up on episode of a show??

the tv companies will offer there own sites to watch full shows on sooner rather than later when they figure out how much money they can make from it

For some bizarre reason, when I watch these programmes, I feel as if though I shouldn't really be watching them...

So when my mind think's it's wrong - then it usually is!

Your right, when sites are mentioned and advertised too much they attract the attention of the wrong people and get shut down, look what happened with ET.
