C'mon - attract some debate...

He is after all one of the fittest BB guys in the shows history. He must have attracted some form of following!

Can I ask why you have such a view?
I just find him a complete non-person. Far far too smooth, I also think he has a bit of "lighting the touch paper and standing well back" when it comes to arguments and bitching. He was a classic case of leading the others into bitching about each other in the diary room 11 course meal whilst making himself look non judgemental or spiteful.

And the way he is asking Lesley's advice on Chanelle in the bathroom - Oh please ziggy get a grip you've known her a couple of days ... and newsflash Ziggy - just cos someone says something that you don't particuarly agree with about your bestest ever girlfriend - don't mean they're jealous - just that they have an opinion about her that is different from your rose coloured view!

but I'm going to leave this thread now cos I don't think I'm supposed to be being rude about Ziggy - there are lots of other thread to do that in!!

Aww I think he's so sweet. He seems to try and stay out of the fights IMHO.

I'm here for debate - not the 'rose coloured' view!
I dont mind if you dont like the guy - I want to understand why folk dont like him!
There are appreciation threads about every other housemate - except this one seems to have been buried!
It confuses me. He has played a main role in this years BB entertainment so far - so it perplexes me why he doesnt have more of a fan base!

Through all the dramas to date he has came through pretty smoothly - and I admire that!

I get the feeling he's a bit of a ladies man - but hey - is it a crime! He is only 26 remember, he was a model and a pop person - therefore surrounded by wanton females. Me being a female -I totally understand at his age etc for lapping up the attention.
But it all may be genuine with Chanelle.

To me she seems to be a little brash, a little hot headed, a little argumentative ( more so - very inclined to stand up for herself ) than others; but very pretty and very genuine which seemed to be lacking in people like Charley, Emily and even Shabnam!
Which makes her IMO a valid candidate for Ziggy's affection - basically as he is tired of all the bullshit surrounding his industry!

With both Ziggy and Chanelle - what you see is what you get.

I fear, however, that some people are a little jaded after 7 series of BB!

I appreciate Ziggy

Having to share a house for seven days with all the other HMs being of the opposite sex is not an enviable position.

I think he's had a lot of stick, and some of it for very petty reasons IMO.

Fair enough if you just don't like him, but he's well mannered, respectful and has done his level best to get on with everyone.

He's been sniped at and about, most times out of pure jealousy because he happens to like Channelle and share a bed with her...even though they mostly sleep.

When you look at past BB 'couplings' Ziggy and Channelle actually are actually pretty tame in comparison.

I'm a copmplete tomboy - so I understand his frustrations!
The arguments are nothing less than pathetic - therefore I empathise!

First time today I've found a thread I am happy to join.

I like Zippy but I take perverse enjoyment from his predicament for some reason.

When he entered the house I took an instant dislike, then I saw how he treated the older, less glam, ladlies and had to admit some respect. Maybe he is just a ladies man,but he's a well brought up, well mannered ladies man and all credit to his parents.

Yes, he's been wound up by the constant bitching - I would be too and I'm a woman.

I don't see what he sees in Chanelle, but each to his own.

I did find the whole Seany:"You OK?" Ziggy:"No, I'm straight" exchage funnier than I had any right to, but in my (limited) experience straight men do seem to have this ridiculous fear that openly gay men might fancy them. As he's a reasonably attractive man I suspect he fell into this stupid idea.

Bottom line is as much as considered him a smarmy git on his entrance I now really, really like him. He can't win, but I hope he lasts the distance.

That's what I think too. Maybe *any* couples are going to get grief now. Lots of people are very cynical and see it as game playing. Occasionally it might be genuine. I am open minded at the moment, but so far I have no reason to believe their feelings are anything but real.

To be fair to him, I heard "You gay?" too. I am off to get a hearing test soon

begins here...

I've not started one of these threads before, and i've only joined one once before, but such is my annoyance with the other females in the house this year, I am aligning my allegance with zac. Thought he deserved a thread.

I really like Ziggy.

And feel very sorry for him when Nicky Laura and Charley try to make life as difficult as possible for him. Obviously they are jealous because he likes Chanelle so much.

I'm very surprised he didn't lose his temper more often in that first week.

I think he has a genuine affection for Chanelle and why not she is the nicest female in the house.

Hope he stays for a long time.

I'll help you bump.

Only just spotted this or I'd have been here sooner.

Ziggy is so wonderful that I've even put money on him.

Charming, polite, considerate and just generally all round nice guy.
