Simon should have gone - I really like him, but he should have gone

*Did slightly redeem himself with the trampoline though - haven't laughed that hard for a while!!

I don't think Naomi was complacent - from listening to her interviews post-firing I believe she'd come round to the decision that she didn't want the job (or perhaps she sensed SAS didn't want her - I' m not sure which came first).

This is the core problem at the heart of 'The Apprentice' - much as I adore SAS's persona as a grumpy curmudgeon with hints of a heart of gold, a job at Amstrad doesn't have the cache of say Virgin (see Michelle Dewberry's comments in one of the tabloids yesterday). In the US version, Donald Trump and Martha Stewart both head organisations that attract high-flyers.

After watching the programme last night on BBC2, it's clearer now why SAS wanted to keep Simon - he's clearly got a mega-brain - as to whether that academic ability translates into business will be a moot point.

Katie clearly will not want the job. Tre, although great entertainment, will not be a great choice methinks. Lohit, although lovely, is possibly a bit too smooth for SAS and Amstrad.

Kristina though is perfect. I'm really impressed by her life story and her determination to keep her son and bring him up through all the adversity. The time is right for her. I just hhope, if she wins, she doesn't turn the job down.

I think Naomi was the odds on favourite to be sacked if placed in the firing line against Tre and Simon BUT she could have saved herself had she argued strongly that product choice was only a fraction of the task here. Simon really cocked up and Naomi could havee given SirAlan a real headache had she been more forthright.

If the rumours are true and someone did turn the job down for Family reasons then I doubt it would be Kristina, as her son is at University so wouldn't be around much anyway.

Naomi was itching to speak in the boardroom, nearly interrupting Simon, but then we don't see her say anything. I am pretty sure she said lots and it was all cut.

Having just watched the programme I think she was the most obvious out of the three to go! Even knowing the result before hand it was clear that SAS wanted to see what she was made of when he swapped her and Lohit and was confirmed when he asked Nick and Margaret "what has she done". I think the same would have applied to Lohit if Kristina's team had lost. Those are the two people who I believe he doesn't really rate. Both are GOOD team players but, neither have the added aggression he seems to be favouring in this series.

I agree..by this stage he knows who he doesn't want. Though on the aggression side he was talking of whether he could put up with Tre as an employee..

Considering what SAS said to Tre I did think maybe aggression might be too strong a word. Probably "edge" would have been a better.

Completely changing tack, I can't remember anyone in any of the series being praised as consistently as Simon by SAS, Nick and Margaret for being so bright.

SAS doesn't just base the sack on who was the worst on the task. He based it this week on potential and it's obvious out of the three in the boardroom this week, Naomi had the least compared to Simon and Tre.

Depends if you think they can learn to apply it. If you looked for who was mostly likely to end in a disaster you might not pick Simon or Tre to stay.

But she did speak - she just didn't say very much. Let's face it she was just a whingebag who managed to put the odd sentence together reasonably well. Decoupage!
