Personally I think Freema's more than capable, but the writers aren't giving her anything good to work with. The lovesick puppy act is getting really old.

I really hope she isn't leaving, as nobody seems to have given her a fair chance (and let's be honest, how many people couldn't stand the sainted Rose for a large chunk of her first series?) and, with better character development, I think Freema could make her critics eat their words.

On a somewhat related note, it's nice to see that Martha's getting as pissed off about the constant Rose references as I am.
