Yeah....lock please mods, Insults are not welcome.....its supposed to be a nice show so IMO we should be nice and fair on here and personal insults are not necessary.
Is this being deliberately offensive? Because if this is the best 'criticism' you can offer the boy, I think he is perfectly safe!
Just for the record, Keith CAN act with real aplomb on the stage and he has a perfectly fine face with a delightful smile and though I always rate Daniel as the perfect fit for the role, I have no doubts Keith could do it with flying colours.
May he have the last laugh on all his cruel detractors!

For me his teeth detract/distract from his 'performance'
He will have to face far harsher critics than simple forum members if he does succeed in the voting.
He has a good voice but I have yet to see him act any song and with lights sound set colourful costumes and many actors around him trying to outdo him I think he would be lost on stage
And is criticising someones talent not also a personal criticism?

You are entitled to your opinions - some of which I may agree with. But the title of the thread is a little provocative and hurtful to Keith fans and the boy himself!
His teeth arent weird, he just has too many. He can act, if you remember back to Always on my mind he acted his way fantasticaly through that song. What he hasnt done is continue this trend with the songs he has sang since then to the same extent.

Ermm I think your phrasing was rather harsh...best sometimes to leave certain things unsaid.However I do agree that I think Keith often loses concentration and has some more maturing to do .The way things are I wouldnt be surprised if he won If it is public vote
..That is why I will be doing lots of Lee votes

Provacative maybe but I placed no degoratory slant on weird.
Lee has some form of speech impediment that detracts from his singing but he's a better actor
its a tv reality show, he's not representing the planet.
If his looks offend dont watching him, he's just a kid leave him alone.

Lee has a sibilance, in your opinion it may detract from his singing, but not in mine.
If you are starting a thread I wonder if you should choose your words more carefully?

Voice yes It is great ..But I do not think yet that Keith has the full package for such a job..In time .It is all very nice seeing the checkout boy done good ..But I want a man to watch as Joseph ..My own desire I guess ..But I bet others too.

Snow_garden: the title of your thread shows no thought for either the individual or his supporters' feelings. Perhaps you find nothing derogatory in the word weird when referring to someone's appearance, however, I found it offensive.
If none of you noticed anything different with Keith's teeth than you would be asking me why I thought his teeth were weird or letting this thread die a death

There've been plenty of comments about Chris B and Rob's teeth, Daniels' grin, Lee's vein -, Lewis''s chin even. People seem to overlook the basic fact that none of these things will matter a jot in the theatre, where the bulk of the audience will barely be able to make out their faces. You don't have to be able to take extreme close-ups to be a West End success.
