Firstly I would've loved to have seen Craig sing again This Is The Moment But my bubble did pop So:

Keith - Always On My Mind - Acted and sung brilliantly
Lee - Mack The Knife - Slick, sexy and professional
Lewis - I think Hero - but every one of Lewis's song must been badly chosen, because I can't remember them

I am going nuts about seeing all the guys back together again \o/ Craig, Daniel, Ben, Rob, Seamus, Chris B -> teeth xxx, Chris C, Jondeep and Antony, all back in their coats and belting out a few tunes for us Josephans. Oh Joy!

Lee - Leave right now, Bad Day, I don't want to talk about it, Paint it Black or Mack the knife ... choices choices - all fabulous as they have a story, show his acting skills and his voice. I think probably would go for one of the first 3 as they were excellent and yet I think it will be Paint it Black which was stunning but darker.

Keith - Ballad not dancing/poppy choice so probably Always on My Mind.

Lewis - Again I'd go for ballad as the slower tracks have been my favourites from Lewis so probably Sorry seems to be the hardest word as Hero is a bit too recent!

I REALLY disagree about Lee singing "Paint It Black" again...... whilst it was spectacular for his die-hard fans (of which I'm one) and a great performance for all the other viewers, it's not really a piece to get the audience enthralled ..... "too shouty" is a phrase that has been used a lot on this forum recently..... that, and being too intense could seriously backfire

He needs to draw in the audience with either a ballad such as "I Don't Want To Talk About It" or the much more upbeat and sing-a-longy "Mack The Knife"

Do we even know yet what the format will be for the final and if they will be singing previous pieces or are we just guessing based on HDYSAPLM

I think we're just guessing! Well I am, anyway...

Oh trixie, this is what I am so looking forward to too! It'll be a great moment!
It'll remind of us of what we all like 10 weeks ago, before this show took over our lives!

Keith did a great Brown Eyed Girl and again this is a crowd pleaser.
Lewis could possibly do "I Saw Her Standing There".
I'm going to come clean here and say that I had to trawl to see what songs had been sung by Lewis and Keith, whereas many of Lee's performances have stayed in my head. That to me speaks volumes.”

Me too! I can remember all Lee's performances while I'm struggling to remember any of Lewis's or Keith's. And that speaks volumes to me as well.

On to answering the question. Lee's Paint It Black was his best performance but when people reprise songs for a final don't they usually choose songs from the beginning of the series, as the ones from the end will be too fresh in the audience's minds? (Don't want the audience getting bored with your song!) If this applies, I'd like to see Lee do Bad Day again - he sang it incredibly well, and it was the song that really drew my attention to him as a performer.

I like Lewis's Hero the best, but I suppose my comments above apply to this as well. I can't remember any of his other performances.

I seem to remember Keith getting a lot of praise for Love Is All Around, so I suppose that would be the most logical choice for him.

I know I'm going to upset a few by saying this, but Lee could sing Bad Day to Lewis as it probably will be a bad day for him, but Lewis'll enjoy the kiss at the end!

Lewis might enjoy a snog with Stacey Slater actually - and Lee does bear an uncanny resemblance to her when he grins

only two songs I dont wanna hear Lee sing again are 'livin on a prayer' and 'all right now'. I will be happy with any of the others

I agree with you Meady, though in some way I think the best choice would be I don't wanna talk about it, partly that although his performance was amazing, vocally it was not his best, I seem to remember that both Daniel and Lee missed some notes, so if he could match his vocal performance to his stage performance then this song could be unbeatable.

I agree - any of the others would be fine. In fact I'd be quite happy to hear all of them

I'm actually quite curious as to what Lee's "All Right Now" would sound like without the cold/flu he had, but I do think the final is not the best time or place to test it out
