I've just spotted on DS that the three remaining contestants are each recording their version of 'Any Dream Will Do' and the Winner's version is going to be released for Children In Need. The B side is going to be the ensemble piece 'Close Every Door.'

It's going to be available for download from the 12th of June and in shops from the 19th June.

Looks like whoever wins is going to have a No. 1 hit single as well!

What I don't understand is that Children in Need isn't until November usually, so surely this won't be the "Official" single for it?

Just an extra thing off the back of the show with the proceeds to CIN?

Was also going to say it seems very early for CIN.

As I read it, it will be the Official Children In Need single for this year. As the series is ending this weekend and has been such a popular programme, they've probably decided to reap as much revenue as possible off the back of it.

Well last year on CIN they had Connie's first live TV performance as Maria with the children so I'm not surprised they're getting involved in CIN somehow.

Should be good though- I'll deff be buying cos I just love the song haha!

Not sure if this is relevant but for I heard that this winners first live TV performance will be in the Diana Memorial Concert - so there will probably be a massive crowd there too! I read this a while back though, so not sure if it still stands.
