Surround speakers
Robin Armitage

I have a MatsuiIDTV with 3 speakers in TV and 2 surround speakers. It has the 2 inputs for the surround and 2 more for seperate front speakers. I have been given a set of 5 home cinema speakers . Is there any way that the new seperate centre speaker can be wired up to take the place of the internal centre speaker. It has 2 scart sockets but A DVD will be going in the spare one. Also the speaker wires are for clip connections. Is there an easy way to use them in Jack type connectors.

TIA

Yes, you should be able to. Contact Matsui and ask them.

I don't see what bearing this has with the speaker question

This I don't know, but clip connectors are a better quality than jacks for speakers (in my experience)

Is your TV set up with jack connectors then??

The only way you can change the centre speaker is to route the audio through a separate a/v amp.
