I have really enjoyed the show too.

Excellent post, I too have enjoyed watching them all and admire them for coming back week after week and giving us all here something to talk about. Whoever wins the role of Joseph (hopefully Lee), I am sure they will all get something positive from this show.

Thank you Boys and thank you the BBC, but don't overload with these type of shows.

We've all got our own particular faves, and want them to win. But I'd also like to wish all of those left in the final all the very best for Saturday!

Loobyloo......appreciate your posts....was just wondering why you mentioned the BBC overdoing these type of shows.

I can't bear the American idol type shows ........but this show seems a little different. A lot of people I work with seem to enjoy Joseph. I must admitt I have not lived in this country a long time and did not see the Maria show. I thought one of reasons for the show was to boost aprreciation of the west end which I love. I accept that ALW is getting a lot of free publicity. I don't think a lot of people in the UK realise what they have on their doorstep......being here I have to see at least one show a month.

I am interested to hear your thoughts

I personally love these type of shows but we have been a little saturated with them over the past few years, ie pop idol etc. I do however think the BBC definately do these better than ITV, I particularly liked the original "Fame Academy" because with digital you could go behind the scenes and see how they were learning and this opened up a whole new world to me. Joseph has been a fantastic show too and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. My one criticism would be that for a MT role I would have liked to see some straight acting on stage in the latter shows and MT songs whether I knew them or not. To boost aprreciation of the West End I think is important too, so that's why I would have personally liked a slightly different format. Saying that I am looking forward to seeing the new "DANCE X" programme as I love to watch dance as much as MT.

The word that is likely to be heaping the most pressure on Lee is hearing that he "should" win. Unfortunately it isn't that easy!

I wish that ADWD had the "aftermath" programmes like these shows had, i would have loved to feel like I got to know the contestants that little bit more. Plus i would have liked to have seen the fall-out after controversial results like daniel going out.

good points...I would have LOVED to have seen more footage of what goes on behind the show. I will watch out for this Dance X ......is it a BBC production.

I agree about the acting, and maybe a certain amount of dancing too. I think that ALW bases his decisions on what goes on during the week more than the sing-off anyway. He said this week the reason he kept Lewis was because of his improvement in acting during the week. It would be nice if the voting public also got the chance to judge acting skills instead of just singing.

I think Bill Kenwright will definitely do something for Lewis and also Craig - whatever that might me. Possibly touring "Josephs". That's if Lewis doesn't get the part, after all he does produce Joseph and he certainly likes these two.

And if (heaven fobid!) Lee doesn't win, Bill thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread so he will definitely be offered something.

I know for a fact that Daniel has signed with John Barrowman's management; the company's official website says so.

Good for Daniel! I am so pleased for him.

I am not suprised, daniel has a great voice, and a nice stage prescence.

Daniel and Seamus. And Lee will no longer be the understudy should the worst happen! He'd actually be perfect for Che in Evita. (If the part is still called that)

I think Lewis is going to win

I genuinely think all of the 12 finalists (and probably some of the only just rejected) have good qualities as performers and potential to do good work - not necessarily as leads, but at least as featured performers. The thing is always the combination of talent, opportunity and luck (the right part at the right time). The problem with the West End now (maybe always, but I think particularly so today) is that there are more talented people than there are opportunities - which makes it more annoying when underpowered 'big names' are cast - but they bring in the crowds, it seems. My own early favorite in ADWD was Chris B, who I think has an exceptional voice that will get better as he matures. I hope he gets the chance to prove it.

I REALLY hope that Chris B gets something out of this, i adored his voice and he seemed like such a sweet bloke. I think its obvious Lee & Daniel will get something, i just hope some of the others arent forgotten about

Mmm I think Craig will go the way of Gareth Gates; i.e. some success but at a fairly low level...

I can't take to Lewis, don't really know why. Ben, I think, has a huge future. Daniel was my original Joseph choice and was amazed when he went - I hope he is successful. I also liked Seamus - he'd be great in Jesus Christ Superstar.

Good point. Although the evilness in me takes some comfort that if Lee doesn't win, he'll be in more localized theatre and cheaper and easier for me to see! And when his other fans have faded away, I can begin some proper stalking !!

My thoughts as well. Seamus would IMO would be great either as Jesus or Judas, I have been listening to the JC Superstar most of the day.

I hate the title of this thread- i know you didn't mean it like that but I think they are all winners in some ways. They have been on prime time tv on a Saturday night and surely that has to look good on any CV

Not seen as a good thing amongst alot in the theatre business - may make it harder in some ways to be taken seriously.

perhaps... but I would say that would be the attitude of fellow performers rather than the producers et all. They want to bring the money in and sell tickets and a good way to do that is to have someone well known. Its a win win situation if that well known face is also geniunely talented too.
