But runners up especially from reality shows are forgotten pretty quickly, the producers may prefer to have a credible production rather than a reality tv star runner up gimic in their show, i like the show, but as i said, i think alot of the contestants may find in a hinderance in the long run, as they may struggle to get taken seriously by alot of the west end.

well the Maria's haven't done too badly out of it. Three (four including Connie) have or will be in the west end while two others have and will be in touring productions. If the boys have enough talent, they will find their exposure and connections with ALW will help them in the business.

Think its more the training they got through the show and ALW's contacts etc than the fact they were on a reality tv show that helped them get work, and, they havn't got work on some of the very best shows.

I suppose they aren't in the best shows but most of them are relatively new in the business as are many of the Josephs. Plus it is still a competitive industry and even more so for girls. I expect Daniel and Lee will get a good career out of this as for the others? who knows.

I agree that daniel and lee will prob have good careers, think that has alot to do with how talented they both are, i also think seamus will prob get work, as he is also very talented. Lewis needs more training, but he is only 17.

I am positive at least some of the 'eliminated' will go on to massive acclaim in their own sphere.

Top of the list MUST be Daniel Boys...his following is tenacious and intense and losing has only made them all the more devoted. His voice is superb, being both strong and with a sweet timbre....so unless he makes massive errors of judgement in his choice of roles, I think Daniel might well come out of this as the one to benefit the most, especially if Lee doesn't win. Why Lee could not just progress to ther things as Dan has would be a bit mystifying but the old saying the higher you rise the harder you fall may have some application here. However Lee does have talent in abundance so let's hope he too benefits in some way.

Of the others, Craig I sense will do pretty well; so should Ben though he may have to mature a bit both professionally and as a person; Keith cannot fail to go on to great things; I doubt Lewis will disappear altogether, either, whatever happens...for all his big girl's blouse routines, he is a fighter and an optimist and you can see folk just end up loving him.

As for Seamus, with his looks and voice he should still somehow get a break ....the perfect rebel, anti-hero!!

Rob...pure hunk with silver voice...again let's hope luck favours him.

Of the younger ones, I think both the Chris's and Anthony will emerge later. The only one I feel kind of sorry for is Johndeep.....what do others think? Everyone seems to have forgotten him, poor dear.

....well, that's not entirely accurate: I shall ever regret Daniel's exclusion from the role of Joseph as I stedfastly maintain he was MADE for that part!!

I think there are quite a few of the top 12 who are likely to do very well out of this. Given the age of some of them (am guessing that none of the Marias were as young as Lewis, Ben or Anthony) this may not happen for a while. I can't help feeling that some of them are likely to pop up in a few years', rather than months', time.

Of the ones that I think will do best - and will be looking out for - Daniel and Ben stand out. I also think Seamus, Chris B, Lewis and Anthony will reappear on stage somewhere.

Oh BTW, this is assuming Lee wins! If not, he's going to be sensational somewhere else instead
