But she doesn't harbour similar views about the others. She was extremely complimentary about Tre on the BBC documentary when she had no reason to be.

Likewise, she could have easily torn Natalie to pieces during the art task if she was really hateful of the working classes, but didn't and chose to support her PM.

There's no way of determining for sure whether she harbours these views or not, however, she has certainly tried to "change" herself, so she was obviously not very comfortable being the obviously working class person that she really is. This, to me suggests that she doesn't like working class traits and Adam was the obvious target.

Her parents sound like typical cornish people, and her friends have distinctly cornish accents. Ergo, Katie should too (and probably did too until taking elocution lessons). Naomi is also from Cornwall, but because she is from a genuinely middle class family, there is no whiff of Eliza Doolittle about her, as there is with Katie.

Give it up, I cannot believe that you are still arguing for the sake of arguing!! You appear not to know where Exeter is..it is in DEVON, not Cornwall and had you been there, you will realise that Katie has a slight Devonshire (not Cornish) accent. BUT GIVE IT UP, stop arguing points which you clearly cannot substantiate and clearly know nothing about.

FACT - you do not know Katie, you do not know her heritage, background or schooling so cannot even begin to comment on her class.

Your posts are ignorant and bigoted as stated yesterday and most of all are futile....if you don't know the facts, you simply don't have a leg to stand on!!

I thought that you were going to leave this thread?

Yes, fair enough I take the Exeter point, and in answer to your incorrect assumption I have, in fact, been to Exeter on numerous occasions. I even have several friends who went to Exeter university.

All you need to do is change "Cornwall" and "Cornish" in my previous post to "Devon" and "Devonian", it's fairly easy. I still stand by my previous analysis of Katie. I take it from your previous remark that you know Katie and her family fairly well then?

FACT - I know plenty about her in order to make a very good judge of her character and what makes her tick.

The whole class thing is so broken down now that people who our grandparents would have seen as total "top drawer" are now exhibiting behaviour that is decidedly "common"

Look at Tara Palmer Tomkinson or the Hervey girls or George from last years BB or George Osbourne.

It was interesting to see how Katie's posh accent slipped on "You're Fired" tonight when she started to lose her cool and get stroppy with the bra woman. Suddenly the Devon accent, which I'd never been aware of before, came through quite distinctly. Anyone else notice this?

Nope, and I didn't notice her losing her cool either.

Certainly. She didn't like how her fake 'charms' failed to work on Michelle.

It's reported that Katie refuses to comment on newspaper stories about her past, as she's selling her story, and her ambition is to become a TV personality in the vein of Simon Cowell.

Thanks, I knew that her fake accent and mannerisms were apparent to other people too. She certainly got caught out with her Eliza Doolittle routine.
