Original auditions

there has been discussions on the journeys of the Josephs -good or not good to watch ?

If you watch all the orginal auditions on the BBC Joseph site
you will be amazed at the difference between then and now for practically all Josephs ( obviously there all some exceptions i.e voices already fullly trained - Lee and Daniel)

Some of them seem to be very lucky to have made the final 12 !

So is it fair to say that nearly all of them have improved via the journey that is Joseph

There's nothing wrong with a 'journey' and it's interesting to see a 'before' and 'after' but is it better to improve dramatically or shave off a few rough edges if you still end up with the same 'after'?

Nice idea to watch the differences though...

I know, for once 'Reality TV' has totally addicted me and I just wonder if the BBC would think it worthwhile doing a dvd of the whole series? Come on, Auntie, think what a money spinner this could be! MILLIONS tune in religiously for it! A dvd ain't asking too much!

Yep, I'd buy it (for my children of course)!

I completely missed the first show, but it's on a video somewhere that I can't find! I wish I'd recorded the second one though... I thought I wouldn't possibly be interested enough to want to look back too.

If they did a DVD, I'd want more than what's aired -- especially more of those "missions" we only get a couple of minutes of.

They won't...... us "Strictly" fans have been petitioning for this for years now and still nothing

We thought that once ITV released the DOI series 1&2 they would be forced to do it but to no avail

I think I mentioned this before, but they're on demonoid. If registrations aren't open then I can send you an invite code if you PM me your email address.

I agree it is fascinating to see the difference and I think it is one of the most positive aspects of the show that it helped train and give experience to young talent who even if they don't win should be able to develop a career in MT (with determination & hard work!)

I don't think either is better. My belief is that the person who should win is the person who would do the best job NOW and that's why on Saturday I'll vote for Lee and always planned to, despite my support for Ben who I wanted to get to the final but never thought should win.

I can, sure. Demonoid.com is a torrent site (and if you don't know about torrents they have a very nice FAQ which should explain everything, but it;s just a way to download stuff...sorry if I'm being patronising.)

I only have 3 invites at the moment, so first come first served, but when I get more I'll happily share.

Thanks, I've just sent you a PM. And no, you're not being at all patronising - I still don't have a clue what you're talking about, so I'll have a look at the FAQ!

Sorry, I wasn't sure if you hadn't heard of the website or wouldn't know at all. The FAQ will definitely explain it better anyway. I've sent the email. If there are any problems then PM me or something, and I'll try to help.

Thanks - I've received your email now. I don't have time to look tonight (I have an exam tomorrow and I still have revision to do ), but I'll have a play with it tomorrow.
