I only saw the song (and was a bit bored by it ) - noticed the doggie had one ear 'closed'

So was the other stuff before or after the song?

It was before, right at the start of the show. The 3 presenters had multicoloured coats on as well and they were all stood on the steps. Then they said 'Make yourself comfortable' which made me laugh as they all looked most uncomfortable as they plonked themselves down. Then they showed Ben's eviction ah bless him. and Lee spoke about living in the house together all week and their friendship. Then they were asked who was the scariest judge and Keith said Zoe and Gethin talked about her scaring him when he was in Joseph school (he was in the same group as Keith apparently.

I think he must just have entered as part of the whole Blue Peter thing, he wasn't expected to get anywhere I'm sure. As to whether they let him as far as Joseph school because of who he was I don't know but I think he does sing on Blue Peter sometimes . On the program today he said about Zoe telling him off for breathing and they showed a little clip of him with Zoe.

I used to play in orchestra with Gethin back in school and he's a really good musician, so I can believe he might have got there of his own accord.

I too am bored of the song. Maybe it's because I'm older, but having lived through Jase being no.1 with ADWD I'm sick of that actual song but like the others.

I thought it was a particularly lacklustre performance though. I suppose the boys are busy this week, but it was obvious that no-one put any effort into the staging of that song, they didn't bother with harmonies or anything that would have lifted it. I guess they have a lot on though, and that was far down the list of priorities.

Yes, you're right they just did what it said on the tin! They will receive a fee for appearing on Blue Peter (not just a badge!) and it should've been far more entertaining.

However I blame the director or whoever is responsible for the performances of guests, not the guys themselves.

Maybe it's the same muppet that edits the ADWD website?!

Oh absolutely, not the boys' fault, but someone from ADWD should have got up off their backside. As for the muppet

I think it was lacklustre because it lacked a certain someone with a lot of charisma and star quality who would have put in a huge effort for a good performance even though it was only blue peter!

How true I'm guessing that there won't be any group numbers in the final for just the three finalists, which I'm very happy about, because the group numbers just wouldn't be the same without Ben.

i know not at all! i cant wait for the group one with all 12 boys though, i wondre what they'll do. My hopes are that it'll be a big fast one with lots of dancing show our Ben can show ALW what a big mistake he made!

I agree it was lacklustre but the director has got an awful lot to do with. They probably had very little time and so didn't want to choreograph anything bigger hence the 2 dogs pinning the Josephs to the spot. It sounded a bit like they were saving their voices too.
