It did seem a bit like something from filmed drama where Sir Alan is talking to Simon but the camera is fixed on Katie 'acting' like she's anxious and unsure of herself, that bit appeared a bit exagerrated. That bit seemed odd because Katie has always managed to carry herself with supreme confidence at all times, but here she's suddenly a different person altogether. And then Sir Alan suddenly becomes a body language expert and somehow guesses that Katie wants to stand down.
It was all just a little too perfect.
All felt a bit like a fictional drama in a way.”

What puzzles me is why they saved her, she escapes as not fired when she was never exceptionally talented in any task. Jadine had a better record?
SAS queried Kristina for experience in pharmaceuticals not so good for his industry, but what has Katie done? Abandoned the Army after an expensive training and education (MBA) on the taxpayers bill, gone in to Consultancy with no commercial experience.
