New Corrie Spoiler
Well its new if it has not been posted before.... and I have missed it here..... Anyway...... in one of Irish Sunday Papers today, there was a brief interview with Keith Duffy, who was discussing his return to Corrie which is coming up soon. He said the plot line would involve him coming across Shelly being mugged and beaten up, and he saves her and gets her to hospital. She is badly injured but the interesting bit is that while she is in hospital ( no doubt being cared for by Martin, as they all usually end up- is he the only nurse in the hospital) she runs into Lucy, Peter's current spouse who is having her baby !!! Should be good.

Maybe this could be the start of an unlikely relationship between Shelley and Ciaran ???- surely this would cause a lot of tension with Sunita? - but she's about to go with Curly anyway!!!

I heard that Emma was the one to have the affair, but I had a feeling that there was something between Curly & Sunita. And I wouldn't blame Curly anyways, what with his wife never at home anyways. SF, Sorry i can't remember where, but im definately sure that i read that Curly and Sunita would have an affair - thats' if Corrie decided to go ahead with the story of course.
I also think you're right about Emma maybe having the affair first though. |

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
![]() Why do Jack and Vera have to be the only(current)couple on the Street who've not had an affair or about to be involved in an affair storyline? Has anyone stayed faithful since the late 80's - early 90's??? What a good advertisement for marriage Corrie is (!) |

Years and years back, Jack did have an affair, or a fling at least, with someone, Dulcie something maybe? If my memory serves me correct.
Katie. |

I'm sure there have been lots of Coronation Street marriages that didn't end in affair:
Rita and (Len?) Jack and Vera Audrey and Alf Judy and Gary Mavis and Derek Ashley and Maxine ... to name a few. |

Jack had at least 1 affair whilst he was a window cleaner, & tried to get off with other women by joining a dating agency. Judy slept with her boss at the arcade (although she may have done it purely for money, I'm not sure) Didn't Vera reveal in a letter to Jack (which she wrote in case she didn't make it through the operation) that she had an affair which meant that Terry may not have been Jack's son? As moneymaker mentioned, Maxine's baby was Dr. Ramsden's not Ashley's. |

SF I could see a storyline about the deterioration of the Watts' marriage given Emma's lie in support of her plonky colleague. Perhaps Emma could fall for Boyzone and Curly could go off with Emily (she's always had a soft spot for Norman)

Slightly off track but does anyone else think that Sophie Webster is now so horrible she ought to be grounded for several months, sent to her room without so much as a fish supper and only allowed to re-emmerge when she's an entirely different person altogether. Rather like Tracey Barlow and Nikki Tillsley did when they were at that "awkward age". |
