But did you see the bra woman slate northerners, her colleagues, home shopping channel viewers, wishing people dead? No.
How Katie gets £90k as a consultant amazes me, there are times in business when you have to shut up, she has no awareness of this as she's too busy trying to be ruthless in a male working enviornment. Yes Katie made bad comments but why did bra women feel she had to be the one to put her in her place? Bra women owns a large company, does she honestly think acting the way she did will improve her public profile in any way. |

Bra woman at least has her employees on her side, something which is essential in employer relations.

I've just watched that clip courtesy of Cottonheat (thanks for that!). That Scottish woman was twice the biatch that Katie is. I'm no fan of Katie, but perhaps she isn't where that dreadful bi@tch is because she is not quite such a cow as that.
I didn't like Katie, but there are worse people - that Scottish sl*g for one. What an utterly nasty piece of work! Not someone I'd ever want to work with, nor will I EVER be putting money in her pocket by buying one of her overpriced bras! What a *^*^%! |

She would say her employees like her wouldn't she. I doubt many off them would speak negatively about her as she could sack them.
![]() I think the problem with their vilification was that Katie had (in my opinion at least) somewhat atoned for her previous behaviour by having the good grace to step down like that, in public, admitting she made a mistake and allowing the way clear for others whose need was perhaps greater if not their abilities. It was very professional of her. I don't thnk I'm the only one who put her up a couple of notches after that. Then she goes on that show, having done perhaps the most noble thing she's ever done in her ruthless, bitchy life and instead of being commended for it she is hauled over the coals by a woman who is one step away from Anne Summers, and Katie's replies to her were sarcastic, and they riled her greatly until she began to wag a finger. If that had continued then I think Katie may have totally humiliated her, but instead of that 4 against 1 did not allow her to speak up for herself. I didn't like that. And no-one congratulated her for finally doing the right thing. I didn't like that either. And I didn't like the Scottish woman. I've never liked Nick. |

I disagree with Katie’s treatment on last night’s “You’re Fired!”. I’m complaining to OFCOM, if others want to follow suit then please go here.
Regards, bigbrother. I don't think you've got much of a complaint, but you should complain directly to the BBC itself not OFCOM Ofcom website: However, we cannot consider complaints about accuracy in BBC TV and radio news or complaints about impartiality in BBC TV and radio programmes. These complaints have to be dealt with by the BBC. |

Why complain.
Katie said some nasty things about the Scottish woman on 5Live this morning and she wasn't even there to defend herself. It's 50/50........it's not as if Katie broke down in tears.

She was a bit full of herself. 'In my organisation everyone gets on with everyone'.
She's living in a dream world, off course everyone gets on with her, she is the boss, behind her back I bet she gets all sorts of remarks aimed at her. But Katies 'run over' comment has to be the most distasteful comment on the entire series. She's very fair and looks after her staff. |

Bra lady was gunning for Katie from the word GO. It was like she had some sort of personal vendetta against her.
Terrible women. The Ultimo woman was on that programme with Adam and didn't like the way he was treated. As soon as I saw her sitting there I knew it would be fireworks. I think the worst comment Katie made was 'you have one speed settting at it's slow slow slow sweetie' what a cow you don't talk to another adult like that - disgraceful. Katie got what was coming to her however the only thing I would say is 'Your Fired' is usually light hearted and funny and I suppose that segment did get a bit uncomfortable. |

It's a case of 6 and 2 3's for me. Yes Katie wasn't treated great on the show last night but then what kind of a reaction did she expect after wishing Kristina, Adam and various sectors of the public death, halm or negative feeling? Lets face it- she was too nasty, too big for her boots and way overrated herself and needed to be put in her place. Knowing what Katie is like the events of last night won't drag her down!

None of us liked Katie but it now seems a lot of us dislike bra women as well and she wasn't even a contestent!
Maybe Bra women should have let Adam defend himself rather than get involved. |

Katie didn't slate home shopping viewers, she used Mavis as an example of her team's target market.
Bra woman did slate her colleagues by saying "they all like me". How a woman who owns a UK-wide bra empire syas that every single person who she employs likes her is ridiculous, verging on impossible. By the insults that she threw, bra woman was so nasty to Katie that she may aswell have wished death on her. Remember, Katie was a person who Bra woman had only seen on TV for about an hour in the past 10 weeks. She didn't know her personally, so had no right to personally attack her. Bra woman was NOT slating her colleagues. I admit that she couldn't possibly know exactly what everyone she employs is like, but at no point did she say anything bad about any of her employees. If she thinks they are all like her, then she is actually praising them. And throwing insults is NOT the same as wishing death on someone. It's completely different. All of us here have only seen Katie for an hour on tv for the past few weeks. But we all have our opinions of her. Why shouldn't the bra woman? And by your reckoning, how can you form an opinion on the bra woman - a woman I imagine you haven't seen much of before You're Fired? |

Somewhat hypocritical of Michelle Mone to criticise Katie's business credentials when she needed Tom Farmer to bail her out when Ultimo was in financial trouble... And I found her quite pompus, even more so than the target of her vitriol; thought Katie stood up for herself quite effectively.

Then she goes on that show, having done perhaps the most noble thing she's ever done in her ruthless, bitchy life and instead of being commended for it she is hauled over the coals by a woman who is one step away from Anne Summers.... Why can't people who think they're making intelligent comment regarding Michelle Mone and her contribution to the programme, bother to find out and use her name, instead of referring to her as 'bra woman' or 'Scottish'? I think there're too many comments based on perceived personalities, and not enough on the apparent facts.I find the words grace, noble, professional and mistake totally at odds with Katie's performance on this programme. *If* for one moment you took the proceedings as genuine - exactly how professional would it be to fight in competition, for a job based in Brentwood, whilst seemingly neglecting to make any plans for your family who are based in Exeter? Did Katie seriously expect anyone to believe that someone with the intelligence, ambition and track record that she talks about, had failed to have lengthy discussions with her children's primary caretakers? (people who presumably had already been caring for them for several weeks during filming of this programme) I don't think for one moment that Katie wanted the job. Infact, I'd go further and think that she looks down on the organisation and thinks herself above it. Far from taking a noble action in stepping down, I think she revealed herself to be a total game player. Back at the beginning of May, The Times quoted Adam as saying Quote:
Fired Apprentice competitor Adam Hosker has claimed many of the show’s candidates are not interested in the programme’s prize - a job with Sir Alan Sugar. Obviously working for the Met Office didn't require a mass relocation for the family - although quite what a Global Branding Expert's role would be there is a bit of a mystery.Hosker, 28, a former car sales manager from Blackburn in Lancashire, said many candidates were not interested in the six-figure salaried position on offer, they wanted publicity for their own ventures. "I think I'm the only person that actually went into the show to get the job,” he said. Hosker singled out competitor Katie Hopkins as an example: "Katie thinks Sir Alan is thick. She told me that in the car on the way back from a task. She doesn't rate Sir Alan, she's there to publicise herself. .... Ah, unless this is her Quote:
Katie Hopkins from Met Office Consulting said: "This new information represents another warning that climate change is happening around the world. Our work in the climate change consultancy team applies Met Office research to help businesses mitigate against risk and adapt at a strategic level for success in the new environment."
January 2007 (source Met Office website)Quote:
The introduction of regular seasonal predictions helps complete the range of forecasts that the Met Office provides. Weather forecasts typically go out to five days, whereas longer-range climate predictions issued by the Met Office look forward many decades ahead. This move by the Met Office to provide a series of forecasts from 24 hour to 100 years, helps businesses and government handle the challenges that weather and climate change bring. Katie Hopkins, partner in Met Office Consulting said: "working with the Met Office gives businesses the best opportunity to make smart strategic decisions. Understanding weather and climate change is vital for the future".
March 2007http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/corporat...r20070307.html She heads a team who advise business on issues involving climate change, I wonder what her own personal forecast is saying to her now? The Met Office said that she was expected back at work, but erhaps the clues are there... Quote:
...The fame-hungry competitor may find a media career more tempting. Yesterday she pocketed £65,000 in newspaper and magazine fees for her exclusive story and she has received further media offers
andQuote:
...But when Sir Alan informed her that she was one task away from winning the post, the mother-of-two promptly quit, saying that she did not want to uproot her family. The sudden departure of the most ruthless of the series’ competitors baffled her rivals. Insiders claimed that Ms Hopkins never had any intention of taking a job with Sir Alan and instead was using the show to find fame. She has admitted a series of affairs with married men. Pictures of her cavorting naked in a cornfield with a man from the Met Office were splashed across the tabloids this week. Described as a “consummate actress” by Sir Alan’s lieutenants, she is now using the PR agency which looks after Robbie Williams to handle a wave of media requests. Newspapers are bidding for her story, while a television career as a “female Simon Cowell” beckons. Media commentators said that she had turned the tables on the manipulative producers of reality television. Mark Borkowski, a leading showbusiness PR, decribed the walkout as “a brilliant move”. Very 'noble!' |

Why would anyone complain to OFCOM about the show on Wednesday Night?? It was all a bit pantomime villainish without any real nastiness as far as I could see. katie is a big girl who gives it out and I thought she took it very well although the bra woman had a touch of the David Brents about her didn't she?? The " I speak for the whole nation" and " my staff love me" could have come from any episode of the Office.
