You obviously missed the Sunday show then... he described it all. Fell asleep at the wheel, the silly twit!

I saw this on the Sunday "Behind the Boardroom" programme, and did feel a bit of sympathy for Tre. He seems to have come through a horrendous injury (even if it does sound as though it was his fault!)

I have some admiration for him for not banging on about it throughout the series in order to get sympathy (how many times have we heard about Kristina's struggles?) and it just shows how restrained both he & the producers were in not mentioning it if we have got to this point and so many viewers (OP included) have no idea.

If you do know, it makes his winning the formula one treat trophy seem quite poignant. And makes Simon seem crassly insensitive for choosing a wheelchair for Tre to sell in the shopping channel task.

However, as usual with Tre, the tale changed several times in the telling and he walked when all the doctors told him he couldn't etc etc - part of me wonders how much he embellished the detail in his own inimitable way...

That sounds mean, but you know what I mean with him...?
