6 votes, 6 different songs. I'll make it 7 votes, 7 songs by selecting:

The Tide Is High

Thats good too! Atomic Kitten made a cheesy attempt with their cover version!

I quite liked the AK cover. It was a lot better than many other covers we hear.

A good tune is a good tune!

I can't see a clear favourite here, because no-one is agreeing LOL!!

Time after Time is still my fave, but I'll add another.

Sunday Girl.

I gotta agree with ya there. Love that song, was a great comeback song!

See my Misheard Lyrics thread (somewhere in the music section) for what I misheard when I heard Maria!!!!

I think what this thread proves is that Blondie were such a consistently fantastic group, it is impossible to pick an outright winner for "best song". Some bands only release one or two good songs in their entire career, so choosing is easy. But almost every track that Blondie ever did was fantastic.

Blondie didn't just release good singles either, the albums had six or seven standouts on them.

Was never a big Blondie fan but loved Atomic.

My bf spent his teenage years lusting after Debbie Harry and learning to drum like Clem Burke
