KAT IS BACK YAY! (and Alfie's so in love)

Bless Alfie! I can't blame him for being so happy to see Kat. I leaped up from my couch and cheered myself when i saw her familiar face back on our screens. Jessie Wallace adds something to Eastenders, which is even beyond top notch acting. It has not been the same without her these past weeks. I'm so glad to see her back, and I'm looking forward to seeing the Kat/Alfie storyline developing!

Anyone agree?

Yep, I do! And it took me a bit by surprise. I'm no teenager and it seems a lot of people who like Kat are dismissed as such on EE sites, but I actually let out a small cheer from my sofa when I saw Kat tonight. She has something about her which you can't help being drawn to.

And I am SOOO looking forward to the development of the Kat-Alfie storyline. I am one of the many who think Shane Richie is the best thing to happen to EE for years and I think an on-screen Kat-Alfie romance will add a dimension that the soap has been badly lacking of late.

I agree that Shane RIchie is brilliant on EE - as Peter Kay says, 'In our house we call EastEnders "I'd slash my wrists if it wasn't for Shane Richie"'

But - being EE, I'm not too sure that Kat & Alfie will live happily ever after ...

In a couple of weeks, Alfie gets into trouble and gets bashed by a guy that's out really out to get Spencer (Hywel Bennett I think!), and Kat nurses him better.

Awwwwww!!
