So far "Phil" has had me crying laughing at his tapdancing and also some of the faces he pulls.

Daniella is great I like her (didnt think I would)

Fash is a boring fitness freak (and a whimp)

Cat is annoying and a Tara "wishIwas"

Chris needs to get a grip and looks scared stiff of Cat.

Anothony is ok and will last till near the end as he is the cook.

Linda I think might be quite capable and just maybe a good laugh.

Sian is really annoying me (not sure why)

Toyah poor girl has not aged well but joins in and maybe the 1st to crack up


Wayne is so funny Loved the tapdance class that Daniellla took over so well He has to stay in till the end "Funny little Man"

On the whole I enjoyed the !st night stayed up till about 4am but probley wont do that again, as its repeated again the next day lol.

The comments about Toyah are so cruel. I think she looks fairly vulnerable.

And what about that Phil person. I've been watching it this morning and he's been virtually "barking" orders at all the women. "You can serve", "Don't put your feet on there".

Phil did something similar when he nominated himself to do the task when in the hut, but he seemed genuinely unaware that he couldn't nominate himself and of course there was no one else there to admire his altruism

I don't think we're being harsh about Toyah, I think she can take it.
The bullfrog in the opening sequence is her familiar and when it's her turn to do the bush tucker trial, she will [COLOR=blue][SIZE=3]mesmerise[/SIZE][/COLOR] the creepy crawlies into lining up and bowing to her.

She's very sexy looking this Catalina. She might grow on me personality wise - simply for this reason

Phil and Anthony are funny together. They've both got funny faces.

havnt seen anough to make my mind bout the others.

however, after last night awful show all together, IMO, i wish Ant and Dec werent there. at all. they arent needed. their "introduction" dragged. they werent funny. struggled to adlib, which is apparantly what theyre best at, and if the camera hadnt needed to focus on these 2 we would have seen alot more of the celebs, the area and the camp but apparantly a voice over from them wouldnt suffice so we need to see them too. if they carry on like this (worse than last time) ill probably switch off.

Ant & Dec....although I like them, I would prefer more of the contestants and less lame links. What were they wearing?
Did anyone else notice the weird..chaplin meets edwardian gent, meets transylvanian(hammer horror)coach man, just slept in, suffering from humidity jackets!

what a cheek....... On the looks thing, yes she is looking rough after only a day. Toyah was never good looking though, even when young....her look was constructed, makeup and lighting.

Phil seems ok, but maybe there is a mysoginist lurking there.

Hi to all - as you will see this is my first post, I've been reading many parts of this excellent forum for over a year and have at last plucked up the courage to start joining in.

As ever and with other forums a good mix of differing opinions, and now you can have the chance to read mine for what they are worth.

I must say I totally enjoyed last nights opening show, the 90 minutes soon went. I missed the first week of the original show, as I then didn't like Ant & Dec too much at that time, but that’s changed, why? - No idea!

I know some of you would have liked to have seen more of the contestants, but in a live show you could wait for ages for something interesting to happen.... However last night the director did cut away from a very interesting conversation at the wrong time - or was it censorship once again.

This morning at 7.15 on ITV2 they were dropping the audio at certain times due to legal reasons, interestingly when they did they switched to a live effects mike - at which time you could hear singing of Happy Birthday to Phil, we then saw this 'LIVE' some 5 to 10 minutes later, during which time they dropped the audio again!

I didn't see last years ITV2 show but I did sit through last nights - but I don't think I'll manage another 13 days of Tara P T - What was she on! - Certainly not this planet...

Looking forward to tonight’s highlights.

Just one question for you - just how dangerous are the bush tucker stunts? Would the really risk a crocodile attacking one of the contestants? My theory is that maybe the are some Perspex screens under the water to stop them getting too close - we will soon find out.

Most annoying so far - Wayne - he’s trying too hard to be fun, best moment - AWT nearly being killed, not because by the way he was nearly killed but because I can imagine the smell in the production office - this show might have been cancelled before it started.

On GMTV this morning, they said some of the crocs were actually mechanical , so I think your theory that the others are behind some kind of screen is probably spot on! After all, it's the celeb reaction to percieved danger, rather than actually imperilling them, that is amusing to watch...

Hello and welcome Rosina glad you decided to join we need some fresh input. Read somewere about the crocs being vegitarian ones (not sure if I belive that) and that the mother was tied up. Also the worring thing was the apperance of two snakes that were not supposed to be there. Will be interesting to see what happens tonight.

Fash the Bash does not need to act the Alpha male. He IS the Alpha male. He is strong, witty, articulate, handsome and ultra sexy to boot. What more could a girl ask for in a man! As for people saying he was acting let's leave that to Wayne Sleep and Phil Tufnell they were overly aware of the camera and going for an Emmy! I think Fash was so brave to be Leader and to do the tasks. Even getting there was such an ordeal for him as he clearly is terrified of heights! He was also clearly scared during the tasks and he deserves a medal. People are saying he was dull as ditchwater then they must have been watching another show because Chris was the Nell equivalent who ' SOMETIMES SAID NOTHING' (as Rhona might say). Catalina is no Tara. She is boring as hell. Maybe it is too early to say but at the moment I am not particularly crazy about any of them. I don't think they can live up to the characters from last year.

Maybe if she had smuggled in half a crate of make-up like Cat then she would not get so much flak. The others only look good because they smuggled in make-up!

I was a bit disappointed that he succumbed only three-quarters of the way through the task before the end.....And obviously very freaked out over it..... Not very alpha-male I thought. I really wanted to see how vicious those rats may be.

Forgot to add that the lack of diversity is really starting to show now! Maybe Rustie should have go in? I don't know much about her and from what I have read she is unfortunately in the Alison mould but at least she might add something. The women are seriously boring!

With regard to the real danger element here, we must remember this is after all just an entertainment tv show at the end of the day..... and unless they trip and fall and do daft things like that..... the actual trials..... are really geared to be sensationalist and dread filled.... more than dangerous. It would not do ratings much good to see Catalina's leg being snapped off tonight now would it , or Fash's todger being chewed off by a mad rat....... the closest to real danger so far... is that lump of tree falling on the chef's head... and Chris Bisson tripping over his own feet and falling off a log.....
