Apparently the crocs were drugged and had their mouths taped shut? They certainly didn't seem to move much. That's besides the allegedly plastic ones.
The other thing I don't quite get is, I thought crocs had really tough armoured skin. Wouldn't a tranquilizer dart fail to penetrate? If so, the marksman was just for added effect?

Looks like the whole thing was as frightening and dangerous as going into the horror chamber at Madame Tussauds.

they'd been fed. there were baby crocs. they were freshwater. held back. that big one was most likely to be fake.

load of bollocks really. i say we give Catalina another nasty task to make up for this crap one.

Crikey, you lot are all evil. You wouldn't be happy unless that big croc had torn off Catalina's leg

I think the big croc was definitely a fake, but as long as Catalina didnt know that, what´s the difference? She certainly looked pretty scared to begin with. She couldn´t see it from the same vantage point as we could so it may have looked pretty real to her. I think it was a psychological test more than anything else.

The baby crocs would never attack a human hundreds of times bigger than themselves regardless of if they had just been fed or if they are salties or freshwater crocs. I also seriously doubt the large croc was real but still, Catalana was single handedly making the pond even browner than before she got in it

Those big crocks were fake, even I could tell that.

And the crocks they released wouldn't make a decnt handbag between them.

It was a fake.

Shibby you can't honestly think that they would send a celebrity (I use the term very loosely indeed) into a crocodile infested lake do you. More to the point, did you actually want them to... it was obvious from Cat's facial expressions and the speed at which she moved that there was nothing dangerous in that water... The whole task was ridiculous, almost as ridiculous as Nel's bronco ride in the last show where when she fell the six inches to the ground she landed in......some leaves

The large croc in the task was undoubtedly a radio-controlled fake. Wasn't it amazing how, whenever they turned to it, the cameras were perfectly set up to view the part of the "crocodile" that was moving i.e. being told to move by some guy in the bushes with an RC handset.

As for the tiddly little crocs, they were probably more scared of us humans than interested in eating Catalina.

Overall, a pretty poor excuse for a trial but then the celebs are never going to be put in any real danger are they...

I posted this link in another thread, but here's The Sun's take on this.

the spiders and the snakes that appear in camp aren't fake though! Of course they aren't gonna put the team in danger that could really kill them.... aren't we all losing the fact that this is all done for charity and not for personal gain? they are really in a jungle and i don't think it anyone would find constant rain and lack of food much fun...

Are they treve, do you know where exactly. When my Aussie mate looked she said all the plants were right but they looked as though they had been placed there. I tried to explain the piece of plant that crashed down and nearly hit AWT and she said there was no way that things like that happen. They've been clinging to the trees for years, they don't just drop off.

Let's all give thanks for such altruistic celebs who have no thoughts of kick-starting a career, just of earning dosh for charity. No thoughts of newspaper deals or television shows will have entered their, or their agents' heads; how cynical of anybody to have considered this.

Here endeth the sermon from cloud cuckoo land.

Did you watch Anthony and Phil earlier. They were trying to move some of the stones so they could get a bucket underneath and what should Anthony unearth...a plastic liner It was obvious too that they knew it was there because they said something like, "Oh they won't like that showing" and they put the stone back.

Alot of the plants look like they have been bought off the "fake " section in John Lewis...........
