I've got this album on just now I haven't listened to it in a year or so, I'd forgotten how good it is.

It has got me thinking though, after releasing so much bland rubbish since this album, how much input in Northern Star did she really have? Was most of it done for her...?

Why can't she do anything remotely as confident and original as this?

Not sure why she has changed her music direction, her first album was great. I have it on my iPod and every now and again, while on shuffle a song will come one: and I'll think "this is cool".

Her next song is okay though.

Thats really wierd as my neighbour had this album on over the weekend and it made me want to put it on again.
I really liked Mel C when she came out with this album, but now it seems like she cant do a good song - I dont think she is seen as being credible because she was in the Spice Girls.
I did see an interview with her on MTV (I think) and she seemed really far up her own bum - she said that she has done the best songs out of the spice girls etc etc and didnt really seem to acknowledge that the spice girls made her famous!
Do you think they will get back together?

The new track "Carolyna" is definately as good as the Northern Star album!
