“MDS is proof that in television its not what you know its who your mother knows.

I have just heard a radio report on the Corus situation, given by a school mate. Mate is the wrong word I hated his guts at school, but he was intelligent, a stalwart of all school plays and worked b****y hard to get into journo school, and he is still doing local radio reports that sometimes get picked up Radio 5 live.”

Firstly, MDS was fine. The best of the lot on that sorry show.

Secondly, yer mates probably as ugly as hell.

More importantly though... TPT is still rocking my world. She really does look like she'd be the best **** in the world.

Ah come on... She's brilliant. We need more posh nutters on TV like her. ”

ok...with you here!.
Tara is great, I love watching her on screen, makes me laugh, and Mark is NO match for her in the 'banter' stakes.

Agreed

I thought that Tara had already had words about the comment he made about her nose .... and had warned him i.e. you say that and I'll get you back

resulting of course in the ball scratching remarks (which had me in fits of laughter)

I would rather watch these 2 than And and Dec ...

The unlikely Mark/Tara double act just gets better and better. Agree too, just watching her makes me smile. She looks like some fabulous Amazonian tonight, I just find her so amusing in a kooky but forthright sort of way

A wonderful Improvement on the abysmal itv2 show of last season. It’s just a shame that it’s not available to a wider audience.

Yes, I totally agree with you here Mystic.

What is so nice, is I think it's her first proper job as a co-presenter, she's flirting, wearing short skirts, making lots of mistakes, laughing them off and nobody is slagging her off.
Where have I seen a similar situation? Oh Yes!...........on the BB forum.

bystander..........please dont mention Tara in the same breath as that other girl. One is naturally entertaining, classy and lovely to look at. The other is bland, tacky and average looking.

Talking of deja vu I've heard three of them say "minging" in the last hour

Thanks bystander, i do much prefer it when we agree

Besides what Sorca mentions, the difference is that Tara is spontaneously humorous, does not repeat the same jokes and impressions ad nauseum, is thoroughly genuine, and has that elusive quality known as charisma.

Im loving this show, Tara's defintaly the star. Mark seems utterly lost for words sometimes when she makes one of her quips. .

The girl presenting on R1:SE is called Kate, and shes doing a great job imo. I think she won a reality tv show last year, summat like that. anyway, shes blossoming into a fine tv presenter.

That I think they work brilliantly together and are extremely amusing!!!

They shouldn't be shoved on ITV2

You certainly are not in a minority, I'm totally with you. Never understood why some people find grown women acting like children "cute".

I really like Mark and Tara and I think they work well together. The problem is the content of the show. I think the phone competitions, mock tasks and mock news, are more suited to a 'just out of school' audience, rather than late evening. I mean whose pants would you want to be? and which celebs blood would you suck if you were a leech? I know 10 year olds would find that hilarious.

Well, the girl's done it again!!
Here we have ten celebrities providing excellent entertainment but once again the "IT" girl strikes again. If you don't have or follow ITV2, I urge you to do so.Never has our Queen Tara been in better form.Beautiful, witty, charming, innocent, with the best taste in fashion that I've ever seen, but ITV has found her perfect match..her Tarzan of the Jungle.
Mark Durden-Smith of RISE and Sky Sports fame. What a double-act together! Surely they must be given their own TV show as a result of this stunning collaboration.

As a Libra he displays the great interactive, relating skills one would expect and as a monkey, the wit and trickery that keeps Tara on her toes.Monkeys are pretty full of themselves and like Leo have strong ego drives. However Mark is an earth monkey and that energy gives more consideration of others.Libra certainly puts others first.
And Mark certainly puts Tara first, almost playing the straight-man to her lunacy but with that impish twinkle in his eyes. His aquarius moon will give him a real feeling for people and society in general.A man of the future here.
Libras and Capricorns tend to challenge each other being three signs apart but in their case, seems to work positively.Mark's monkey may be drawn to Tara's pig year. The pig is considered the purest, most innocent of the signs, generous to a fault and of all 5 monkeys, the earth monkey is the most likely to respond to such qualities, without taking advantage of them.
Interesting, too, that the Pig is the great one for parties.Tara, wouldn't you just know this.

Well done ITV planners. Mark and Tara rule!!

All very good - so who according to the 'Stars' is up for winning oh great astral one.

I still don't get the interst in their double act - 10 mins each night I've 'TRIED' to watch and each night I switch it off - maybe its just me - its just that they seem to try too hard - and I just can't stand her voice or her style - and black knickers with that green dress - Pleeeeeesssseee!.
