The Met Office say she wasn't earning the £90K she claimed and that they can terminate the employment of anyone at any time during their probationary period so I'm not sure how far her appeal can go as she only began the job in September 2006.
Simon said he didn't appreciate her comments re married men as he comes from a broken home and the children always suffer. He also said what she is doing at the moment is a superflous side show which is diverting attention from and lowering the tone of the programme.
