Thinking of getting the new Nokia 7250 camera phone. Has anybody got one, what are your thoughts? Should I just stick with the old 8310 instead?

Might be better if you posted on the internet and telecommunications board.

Get a 3650 - might be bigger, but the camera is waaay better and so is the functionality, for example you could control your tv with it.

If it's as poor as the 7210...bad screen, flimsy front fascia and hissy call quality..then I'd give it a miss

I used to have a 7210, but never noticed the call quality being anything different. Mind you, it did distort a bit on one of the ones I had, (I had about 5 I think, all riddled with software problems ).

But I think the 7250 *is* the 7210, but a bit deeper (for the camera) and a different keypad. And the pictures are solely for MMS, as they're only some thing like 320*240px.

Also, that screen was annoying. All of mine used to keep going really dark for about 3 mins, especially when playing java games, then it would just pop back to normal. And I could see lots of vertical lines down the screen, flickering.

I'd just like to point out that the 3650 has none of the above faults

Does anyone know why with the 3650 Nokia didn't include the lens part of the unit in the changeable cover?

Hi i have a 7210 and i have had no problems wit mine, even dropped it in the bath lol, so iwen it comes to the 7250 the software is exactly the same as the 7210 just a built in cam instead of the clip on

I have a 7250 and think it's great. I never had a 7210 so I don't know if it's the same phone software, but I've noticed no real problems.

Erm... why do you think that? It's lovely phone, great build quality, great screen, amazing features, £200 cheaper than the P800.

Besides, the price doesn't matter, I still believe this is the better phone. The P800 and 7250 represent terrible value for money compared with the 3650.

the 3650 is just that little bit too fiddly for my liking inn sending txts. The buttons weren't well thought out. Everything else about da phone is cool tho.
