According to this page, Katie refused and interview with a website who had done interviews with all the other candidates.

This week on DS, only Lohit and Tre are interviewed. Coincidence?

It's a shame, I was looking forward to the Katie DS interview.

It doesn't surprise me, tbh, but really, who wants to read more lies and insults from her...had enough of that already this series....

Well with all the northerners, Mavises, home shopping channel viewers and oiks who read this excellent board, what do you expect!

Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if she rejected the 'other' forums offer of an interview too.

I would imagine thats because a sinday paper has signed her up for an exclusive interview. If you are signed to one of those you can't do anything else because thats what an exclusive is. (I suspect BBC appearances are allowed as they were in the original contract?)

Either that or she wouldn't want to be associated with all the saddoes who post on an internet forum.

See today's News of the Word.
I'm sure people in the north read that paper but if they pay the most, hey, what the hell?

Oi! I'm a northerner I don't know anyone who reads it, thank heavens, but I did read the thing about Katie on the NOTW site. It's... weird.

I may live down south but I'm a northerner too.
I read it on the site as well.
I'm sure Katie would much rather have given her exclusive to the Telegraph but needs must.

Make no mistake, Katie has visited this forum and after seeing some of the posts she's too afraid to be interviewed here.

Afraid?

Oh, like we'll really going to send Mavis and the other types of people that she put down, to her house and wish that some harm will come to her?

Does she really think any us will stoop down to her level and say that?

Digitalspy staff will ask various questions just like any interviewer/journalist would do, from the easy to the grilling questions.

Besides I'm sure that Digitalspy didn't ask the forum members to summit questions to ask her and in turn Digitalspy has got theirs in waiting, so I don't know what she's afriad of?

In the end if the interview did take place, it will lead us the 2 conclusions:

1, A few members will worship her.

2, Others will shake then their heads and say that they learnt nothing new about her and as Mr T would say: 'I pity the fool'.

You're being a bit naive. Try reading some of the anti-Katie posts on DS:
vile, horrible cretin who patronises potential market and customers by giving them demeaning hypothetical names and characteristics.... she must be done away with for the good of humanity!!!
In Katie's case though there is nothing i'd like more than to see her tied to a lampost in the Bigg Market in Newcastle on a Friday night.
There are hate-filled threads full of insults about her person and appearance. There are some nasty people on this forum. Not to mention death-threats made elsewhere, such as Richard Curtis at the Baftas.

That said, I doubt she's scared. As thenetworkbabe says, she probably just has an exclusive contract elsewhere.

None of the above are any worse than the things she was shown uttering!

I agree, she'll be trying to keep her worth up by not speaking for free to any organisation she hasn't been contracted to previously.

let her just slip into oblivion now please, like racist Emily from BB

I really thought the Guardian was the last bastion for those of us who want to get away from these gameshow contestants trying to claw their way up to the z-list, but no, there she was plastered all over G2 with writers and academics debating whether she was great or a ruthless, sneering nightmare!

god help us save us from these women!

In the case of the Guardian musing over Katie, the apprentice has been popular among their readers as it crosses over from business to reality tv.

Who are 'these women'? I thought (and hoped) she was a one off.
