Dr Who - Bring back Sally Sparrow!!

Outstanding, brilliant, and a total babe. They should bring her back or give her her own show.

Noooooo not another spin-off Although i have to agree she'd make an excellent companion/asssistant in the future. In fact i think it would be good to have her suggested new found DVD loving boyfriend too. Add a new dynamic, have the boyfriend around but not have the family popping up all the time.

And at least it'd stop all that companion doey eyed Doctor stuff.

She should be the next companion - I warmed to her immediately.

Yes, I totally agree. Played the part well, good actress, just the right age, and good-looking as well.

Move over Martha. You are finished.

I adored Sally, she's everything that Martha isn't.

Yep, now I've always been a supporter of Martha (at least to give her a chance), but Sally is the one for me.

Ummm...I'm a married mum!!!

I just thought she was a great actress and I "believed" her from the start of the episode.

I've still not warmed to Martha.

Be fair, there's room for both of them in the Tardis!

She was in Bleak House, and played Ada Clare. Found her rather insipid in that to be honest and she was acted off the screen by Anna Maxwell Martin's flawless portrayal of Esther Summerson.

Thought she was good in this episode of Who; but leave my Martha alone!!! We (the House of Carter) all and when we saw The Doctor and Martha ( for their three nano second apperance) tonight.

So, er (just trying to fill in her acting backround here) in what way was she "wayward"? Did she er, disrobe at the slightest opportunity?

(Perhaps I need to watch that series ....)

Although i don't want to get the possible next new lead writer argument started in this thread, theres only one writer who truly knows the character of Sally Sparrow....

Yeah, really liked her. She'd make a great companion.
Good acting and she led the episode well.

PS: Yes, she's really hot too...

Now that Freema is getting axed, surely we should be demanding a great actress cast?

She's not getting axed 9there is a complete thread and a half on that), suffice to say, there is a new companion waiting in the wings .......

I thought Sally was superb. Definitely a good shout for the next companion if Freema does indeed leave (and I'm a Martha fan so I hope she doesn't).
