HAHA I realised that about half way through and I tried it, but I found it doesn't help, it's not the same as blinking properly for some reason, at least not for me

I've just tried it and the desire to need to blink with both eyes is just too strong - although i'm of the group who find it difficult to do the old pat head rub stomach thing

Put a Mirror infront of them? Surely once they open their eyes they will be looking at themselves and be stuck frozen.

I read somebody suggest this yesterday and tried it out for myself.
I couldn't help accidentally blinking.
It's probably no easier than trying to keep your eyes open. It may even be more difficult. After about 3 or 4 times of deliberately closing one eye after another in turn I ended up blinking by accident.

I think that forcefully closing one eye after another deliberately is probably very diferrent from blinking naturally.

Wouldn't work has to be an organic life form looking at the angels and a mirror aint organic.

I would have said more a 'conscious observer' than an organic lifeform, it worked when they looked at each other.

*edit - They could be organic when they're not being observed, but as things point to them existing on the quantum level I'm guessing not.
