I wonder if they are like Bok the evil statue from The Daemons Jon Pertwee Story. When it was blown to bits by the Brigadier it just reformed again.
I mean if these angels have been around almost since the beginning of the universe then someone must have tried the sledgehammer or blowing up thing..maybe they just reform. Looking at the ep again it struck me as a bit of a flaw, I kept thinking come on just get a group of people to stare at the statues while some burly guys smash them to bits after all its highly unlikely that a whole group of people will blink at exactly the same time.

Reproduction? They use the method used by many humans. It's called the "bag over the head" trick.

That'll work with the kids too.

Yes you could use a sledgehammer on the statues, but wouldn't you blink from all that dust and as soon as you did that they would revert to their quantum state and next time that you looked the fangs would be out.

that was my idea, but the doctor did suggest that this wouldn't have done much good in the easter egg, so maybe they have some skill like the liquid terminator in T2 and when you turned your back on the shattered statue it reforms to look like some Picasso or even a Henry Moore and just wait till they can get back to their natural state.

I reckon when you are stuck in scary house with statues moving when you are not looking the last thing on your mind is finding a hammer and chisel.

I suppose it is like all fiction you can try just too hard to pick holes in the plot.

Shouldn't this thread be moved to the Doctor Who sub forum?
