It was hard watching Lewis sing Close Every Door last night - he really struggled with it poor lad and the high note at the end was awful. I thought he did well to have a stab at singing it though - he was full of emotion.

Did you see how upset some of the judges were as well?

Well done to Lee by the way.

I thought it was a great exit, apart from the last note which made me cringe, but i think thats partly because he was crying and his voice was shaky. But i thought he did a brilliant performance.

I thought Lewis made a very moving exit - my eyes filled up.

I'm not criticising him - I thought he was brilliant last night. When I said that it was hard to watch it was because he had been knocked out - I really wanted him to win.

Mine too. He was brilliant last night. I cried when he climbed those stairs.

Even though Lewis has been my least favourite all the way through, I really felt for him when he sang Close Every Door. BTW last night's performances by Lewis were his best of the series.

I agree with you - Kiss was fantastic. Lewis is a fantastic performer, he is a great singer as well. I think his best song was Hero - he sang it so beautifully and he made me cry.

I'm sure he'll make it in the West End.

He was great. How he managed to sing Close Every Door like that when he was so churned up I have no idea. He has improved and developed more than anyone else during the run of the series and he deserves the success which is coming to him.

Lewis really raised his game last night and won me over but Keith just had the edge!

What a wasted opportunity BEN - LEWIS - KEITH they are the real future of UK WEST END THEATRE - ADWD started out with such Promise, a NEW STYLE of JOSEPH and what have we got? - just safety first!

BEN - LEWIS - KEITH You should all feel really proud of what YOU Achieved!

Helloooo - Lee is hardly an old man.

Although Lee was always my favourite I desperately wanted to see Lewis in the final and I reckon he should have been. Keith does have an amazing voice, but last night he just didn't pull it off.

Anyway I'm sure they'll all go on to great things - I hope so anyway.

totally agree that these are three rising stars.

But I do think lee deserved to win for his talent and consistency.

I so hope the other three will have brilliant careers soon. And I hope the other Josephs get some exposure to pursue their dreams as well..........Daniel, seamus and Chris B especially.

For me Ben was DYNAMITE..........but I graciously acknowledge Lee has what it takes at this stage.

I'm with you I'm afraid. He has a nice voice, but I've never understood what people see in Keith. Odd looking, too young, too cheesy, and with little acting talent from what I could see. Judging by some of the VT's - it seemed he could be a little bit cocky too. A very unpleasant trait in someone so inexperienced....

They should've allowed Keith to sing Close Every Door as well. I'm indifferent when it comes to Keith and Lewis... I'm not sure who I preferred (Lee was my favourite anyway).

My allegiance to Lee is well documented as is my soft spot for Lewis, I think he's very talented. However I do feel a bit uneasy about some of the editing which seemed designed to show Keith in a bad light. Young yes - but older than Lewis. Odd looking? Well they did show a Tommy Steele lookalike pic. and the resemblance was uncanny - those looks didn't do Steele any harm. Cocky - perhaps his youthful confidence came across as arrogant, but I didn't see him that way. The way he sometimes showed disappointment has been criticised, but that could be due to youth and lack of acting experience. Others may have been able to cover their feelings more easily.

As I said Lewis is younger, but he is an altogether different person; more diffident, less confident and obviously found it difficult to 'big himself up.' I was delighted he came through for the final programme and I'd have loved to see him in the final, but I wish we'd been shown another side to Keith because I do think what we saw was a bit selective to make good tv.

Cleo, I wouldn't bother. He's been bleating like this for weeks....anti-Lee to the end...

As Lee said, maybe all the ones who didn't vote should pop round to the theatre and check him out.

Lewis, Ben and the guy who went out the first week all really stood out for me last night. Lewis' exit was shockingly good.

I think he definately needs some serious acting lessons. Also, he seems to lose it a bit in group numbers - gets more focussed on working out where he's supposed to be standing. The voice is fantastic, though.

Lewis was so good last night, his voice did crack during COD, but he was just so emotional! He, along with Ben, Keith and Daniel are going to go places.

Oh I hope so. I really do hope it's not the last we are going to see of them. I would like to see Craig get something out of it as well as he tried so hard.

lewis really upped his game in the last few weeks and really did well and i too thought it would be a lewis -lee final last night

His exit must have been so difficult to face but he did well if fact he seem to be trying really hard to hold it together...well done that young man...from a fan of daniel

to be honest i never thought lewis would make it through the whole song because it was highly emotional last night and the tears were there. Well done Lewis you did the north proud

I really thought that Lewis's performances were excellent last night - I can hardly believe how much he has improved. Yes, he cracked on that last high note, but I am always impressed that they can sing at all at that stage, when they are so emotional! To my mind, the only two Josephs who really nailed that final song technically were Chris C and Daniel, but they all of them sang it with a lot of heart.
