Time will tell, I have never been nasty to Lee! - just in my opinion (which is allowed) he does not fit the bill (and I find him just a very steady Eddie) unlike Cleo who has been constantly attacking others like Keith here.

I also remember perhaps an attack for the triumphant hand raising from a contestant, which was nothing like Lee's last night, at least Keith showed some thought for Lewis!!!!

I have got tickets! thanks and I will see it several times, but I'm yet to be convinced that the lead is anything New - which is what was promised!

From the start I liked Daniel - but I accepted Daniel was not Joseph! he will go onto to big in The West End Theatre, but BEN was the JOSEPH! and it will not be the last we hear of BEN ELLIS in West End Musical Theatre.

Anyway this Thread is about LEWIS and he most impressed me last night, I felt he was not quite ready! - be he is NOW! go for it LEWIS!

I think Lewis would of shone weeks ago had the judges not kept giving him negative critiscm. I know they are their to critisize and help but sometimes posotive feedback can get better results than being negative all the time, theres no wonder the poor lad kept falling down the ladder with all the negativity he got. Had the judges been abit more lenient at the beginning he may of come out his shell weeks ago. YES im fully aware everyone should be able to take critisism in life, but he did have rather large doses of it
(and yes i realise im having problems spelling the word )

Yes I had a tear in my eye for Lewis. I so wanted Keith to be kicked out first - he comes across as cocky and very arrogant - it seems that the other boys thought so too. I guess Lewis was too much of a risk - so young and inexperienced. Maybe he could do the two nights that Lee has off? Good idea anybody?

He's a rocket!

Lewis gave it a good effort to be fair on Saturday, but
I personally would have liked to have had Ben and Daniel in the final.

I'm not a fan, but he did really up his game on saturday. I'm of the opinion with Lewis that when he's good, he's very very good. But when he's bad.....

Anyway, i did actually get quite emotional when he went out. This is going to sound all sad and gooey but i was mostly sad because i knew it was the last time we'd see one of the josephs singing that song. And also because Lewis was the only one of the three who had had highs and lows in the competition. It would have been nice to see a sing-offer in the final 2

Then my emotional tears were broken by laughter when they struggled to get the coat off him. Even he was laughing!!

Isn't Lee doing all 8 performances? I love the idea of Lewis taking the role over from him when he moves on though.

Keith is not cocky or arrogant he is a very pleasent and nice young man none of the other Joseph's think he is any of these, this was just clever editing by the BBC so get a life all you IDIOTS that make these stupid comments about him YOU DONT KNOW HIM.

Connie was scheduled to do all eight shows and look what happened. She had to have time off because she did her voice in. It would make sense for Lee not to dive straight in and do every show. That way, Lewis's fans would get a chance to see him and he could probably manage two shows I think!!!!

Lewis is not up to west end leading man standard. Not atm anyway.

Also think it was a bad exit song he delivered - if any of the others had done the same they would have been slated and all we'd have heard is "see he wasn't up to it". But like others I'll put it down to his emotions...

I thought Lewis was fantastic last night and really upped his game. I did get cross though when BK was going about his hard journey..........helloooooooooo Ben???? Ben had far more knock backs and criticism than anyone on that show.

But I do think lewis would make a better Joseph than Ben......Ben needs a singing/dancing high energy roller coaster of a show and am hoping he gets one soon

I've said all along Lewis deserved our admiration and though I've not see the Final yet (having been out, alas) it sounds as if he was beginning to display the stuff he's made of!! Well done, lad!

However, for me there'll only ever be one Joseph..the one that 'got away'.....Daniel Boys. I still keep hoping ALW will approach him with the proposition of doing Lee's days off. Maybe seem a bit 'second best, compensation prize' but I think it'd only gloriously vindicate Daniel and give us all the chance to compare and contrast the two strongest contenders.....

As for Keith I cannot join any of his detractors. For me his voice was just SO good, his assurance so infectious, I think he too deserves lots of success elsewhere. Then Semus, then Chris C. then Anthony...enough!!
