This challenge looks a lot better. Something you might see on Fear Factor.

EWK! Sorry, I couldn't have done Wayne's task. Even if it had been pet mice, I'd have been gone.

The image of Wayne Sleep rolling around with rats, with a waffle on his forehead, will remain with me for a while.

Horrible challenge indeed. I could have done it though

Thing was though he did do the challenge, he just couldn't find the keys. Poor guy.

Wayne was brilliant, he gets 10 out of 10 from me

Yeah that task was definitely the most difficult. The first task by john was fairly easily to get 7 meals, he wouldnt even have a rat near him!. The second task was fairly easy because the crocs placid except for the snakes. Having rats near you is disgusting tbh..

I think John got the vote tonight because of his comments towards Wayne on how he only acheived 2 meals. I think if he saw Waynes task he would be lucky to get more than two and no doubt all the others there aswell.

A totally unfair and unrealistic challenge. It would have been reasonable for him to just crawl through the run and pick up stars.

Let's give him some credit for staying in there for 4 minutes. Fash cried for help as soon as he heard the word rats, So glad he has to do the next challenge because they NEED the food He was very unfair about Wayne's effort without knowing the facts.

Well done Wayne.....Party on Wayne Swving(ter)

And the snakes were edited in later on the second challenge....

Yeah well done Wayne. I'd have completely freaked out. I did think the trial was a bit unfair, even if the keys had been a little more obvious he might have managed to get a few more stars.

Thats why he was so annoyed, he showed a lot of bravery going into that tiny enclosure with those rats, but the keys were well hidden, either that or he should wear contact lenses!

I have to agree with the above posts.

That was a really unfair task. Wayne did complete the it, he wore the suit and went into the "cages" and went right to the end where most of the rats were. Not really his fault that he couldn't find the hidden keys.

And why was he only given 4 minutes?? Having to find the keys and then unlock them and make sure he kept hold of the stars in 4 minutes - really unfair! Cat only had to leave the stars to float on the water??

Anyone else spot someone off camera drop some rats right on his head through a special hole in the perspex!

I would not have done that task even if my kids were starving. They'd have to go hungry for a day!
I couldn't even look at Wayne, because of the rats but I'm going to vote for him to win. He was very brave & he's a fantastic dancer.

Even though he is the bitchiest man in Britain, you have to admire him for doing this.

The image of Wayne Sleep with waffles strapped to his head and rats all over his back will live with me for a long time

Must have been frustrating....It looked like he had a good rummage through it.... but little sign of the elusive keys. Were they actually there at all? Any chance of sending in UN inspectors to search and verify their presence or otherwise?

I think it was intended that Wayne should not get many keys at all but, and I may have heard this wrongly

I thought he was told just to collect the keys only (ie Not to open the locks)

I was expecting to be disapointed in Wayne, when I heard earlier that he had only won two meals. Having now seen the challenge, I think he did amazingly well. I can think of one or two of the others, who would not have seen the task through to the end. Well done Wayne, you should of got more meals for the effort!

Wayne did very well. The food attached to his head, the rats being dropped on him and the hidden keys (not to mention the difficulties posed by his glasses) all made it an unexpectedly nasty challenge.

Saying all that, though, I would still have preferred it to either of the other challenges !

I noticed that John Fashanu was complimentary to Wayne to his face,...but to the cameras he was a bit catty.
He said that Wayne's best efforts were not good enough,.........what a shitty thing to say. When John heard the mention of rats during his task,..he was outta there like a shot. But Wayne had to deal with hundreds of them all over his body.

The main point I'm getting at here,...is that the gay ballet dancer proved himself to be more of a "man", than the macho, alpha male.

John couldn't deal with rats, and I don't think I could have. But Wayne was great. The only reason he didn't complete the task was because he couldn't find the keys, not because he bottled out.
He did it without putting on a melodramatic "How brave I am" performance as well. Unlike John's OTT martial arts rubbish.

Well done to Wayne, top man...brave performance.

Disclaimer: This post, in no way, reflects my opinion of Wayne over the next fortnight. I fully expected to dislike him, and hopefully he still can give me reason to.
Unfortunately, I find myself liking him at this present time. I promise to try and attack his character and personality if the opportunity presents itself.
Please forgive me if my current favourable opinion of Wayne is in bad taste, and understand that this affliction is probably only to last temporarily .

No hissy fits, no theatricals, he just got on with it. And he stayed in for the full 4 minutes. I'm sure if he'd have had the chance, he'd have stayed in longer, to get the keys. The man did enough to earn 10 meals by stopping in there. You just cannot compare his task with yesterday's plastic croc fiasco. He's gone up in my estimation. Proves that you have to be tough to be a ballet dancer.
I'm warming to him more and more - also loved his Caberet directing. He's certainly one of the more interesting characters - I could imagine myself really enjoying his company, which is more than can be said for one or two of the others.

I agree that Wayne did very well indeed...... he completed the task without moaning or whinging once...... he never looked as if he was going to shout the immortal words....... and I think it was damned unfair that the keys were so difficult to find....... they should have been protruding from the sand with no difficulty and the task should just have been to open the locks. I think Wayne actualy did the best of all them so far....... Fash.. almost wet his pants at the thoughts of a rat....... Catalina.... never was in any danger.... lets face it..... but Wayne had those things jumping all over him, and he never flinched..... so well done to him.

Wayne definately gets full marks for effort and bravery. I think it was a very harsh of Fash to have a dig at him getting only 2 stars, but he soon went quiet when he was told he had to do the "Bridge of Doooom". Looking forward (upward?!?) to seeing that...LOL

No, pat yourself on the back. I think its a great thing when somone can recognise positive qualities in someone that they dislike(d). Takes guts to admit that, so loads of brownie points mate!.

Yes..I thought Wayne did really well, and John's comments were weak in the extreme, and he did himself no favours at all.

Got to say similar to above - that while I don't like Wayne all that much I did think he did well in the challenge, even though he only won 2 meals - I did'nt see his comments 'live' when he returned but unlike Fash he didn't see to embelish his task that much - seemed genuinly dissapointed as well - so full marks.

Of course all let down by his staging of -was it something from Chicago- look at me I can dance! - yes well we knew that before you went in.

At least he's started the bitching off - I get the impression AWT knows his feelings as well - seems to be very cool to him recently.
