Sim Free Phones

Where is the cheapest place to buy a sim-free phone?
Any recommendations? Preferably not Nokia, and I'm not particularly bothered about it having a camera.

Try expansys, they're pretty cheap.

What I do, search the internet to find the lowest price you can, print it off and take it to the carphone warehouse, and they'll match the price! That means you can have a great price, and guaranteed good customer service.

Thanks I'll take a look.

I really fancy something like the SonyEricsson P800 or the Siemens SX1, but I can't really justify paying that much when I'll not use a lot of the features. I like the idea that you can download extra applications, are there any cheaper phones you can do this with?

I quite like the T68i but its not much different from my current T65. Does anyone have any opinions on Siemens S55? I used to love my C35 so I hope its as good.

Do they check the prices in CPW? Anyone could easily edit the webpage so the price is cheaper.

I don't think they do actually, I saw a BT adaptor cheaper on a website, printed it off, and I was running out of ink and I only realised you couldn't see the web address at the bottom, and only realised it whilst I was in the queue, but the guy just put it through the system and just gave me the reduction. Bizzare

What about the 3650? It's a lovely phone, loads of features, loads of apps available (a lot more that for UIQ devices like the P800) and it doesn't look at jaw-droppingly ugly as the SX1! And it's only £300.

I quite like the SX-1! Perhaps in weird!
I've been also looking at the SonyEricsson T610 which looks quite impressive and is relatively cheap, but I can't make my mind up about the design. In some pics it looks like an ugly brick but others it look quite smart and professional.

As for the 3650, I've always stayed clear of Nokias because I prefer to have something a bit unique. I just know every spoilt teenager is going to have one soon. Your quite right though, it does have all the features for a reasonable price.
