Soap graveyard!
With the nostalgia sparked from the posts about old Neighbours and Home & Away characters, and especially the thread about High Road, I've been thinking of other old soap operas that are no longer running.
What were your favourites and which would you like to be brought back, or at least be re-run on UK Gold? I loved The Sullivans, Eldorado, E-Street, and Sunset Beach Oh and Families! That's what Jude Law first starred in! I loved him back then![]() Feel free to mention the ones you hated, too

I donŽt know if it qualifies as a "soap" as such, but I absolutely loved the australian show Heartbreak High! I was practically in love with Drazic, the rebel. I think it liked to think of itself more as a "teen drama" rather than a soap, but I remember some of the storylines were pretty hard hitting and the acting wasnŽt bad either. Anyone else?

Does anyone remember "The Secret World Of Alex Mack"? It was last on five years ago, as far as I can remember. |

Was that the one where she had special powers because sheŽd been exposed to radiactivity? And there were these evil people always out to get her because they wanted to experiment on her!

I've got a extremely vague recollection of The Newcomers. BBC 1965-69. I would have been in junior school at the time.
Wendy Richards was in it. See http://www.geocities.com/uk_soaps/Newcomers_The/ |

Cell Block H! Loved it. More wobbly sets than the old Crossroads
BTW I once met a girl from Melbourne who was very proud of the fact that she was one of the set designers for PCBH. I did warn her that should should probably miss that off her CV if she was seriously looking for work in the UK and NEVER mention it at dinner parties
