What employer would wish to employ someone who boasts of going after married men? The disruption she could cause among their workforce would be incredible IMHO.

TV companies or the media. The publicity she has had probably won't put off TV compamies or the media. They will probably be queing up for her with various offers. Thats life and the British public love/hate celebrities but either way will watch them or read their story/comments and lap it up. She has had plenty publicity and is probably now looked on as a celebrity.

I would think that these sorts of opportunities would be quite limited. What could she actually do for the tv companies? Unless she did a Living TV reality-type show. The type of show she looks down her long snotty nose at. I haven`t seen one single likeable quality in the woman.

Queing up? She wishes.....

I'm sure she will get a bit of media work in the short term, but it will soon come to an end, as she is throughly unlikeable.

I can't imagine anyone wanting to employ her, all the business people on You're Fired said they would not touch her with a barge poll. I expect she will now appear on the likes of Celebrity Big Brother or Love Island. Looking at that photo (obviously staged) she fancies herself as the next Abi Titmus god help us.

her celebrity shelf-life will be shorter than many

she lacks any business credibility now that people think she got to where she did by shagging her way to the top

She doesn't have the looks for most shows (good figure though)

so I don't really know what she can do - hang around nightclubs flashing her knickers at photographers perhaps?

Is she not a bit broad in the beam? Maybe it was my telly

Can't see her on telly, though. If you don't have great looks you can get by on a likeable/fun personality so there's no hope for her.

She's shot herself in both feet. Even if prospective high-powered employers don't watch the show, I bet their wives do

Katie the Dodo.

Since that episode of the Apprentice I have had a look at some of the shopping channels ....
My favourite so far is the inflatable bed which is ideal for gymnasts and bears.
Does it come fully equipped?
If so, it sounds quite tempting - every home should have one!

I feel I'm missing something now, we only have 4 terrestrial channels
What with that, living down south and neither knowing how to knit, or being called Mavis, maybe I should offer Katie a job as my new best friend?

Second thoughts - sorry no vacancy

The Times report she has already made £65,000 from selling her story.

What did she actually do at The Met Office? I've read that she didn't earn 90K as she claimed.

Ach I have to say I feel a tad sorry for her. I feel bad whenever anyone loses their job. I'd hate it if her kids, who she obviously adores, were to miss out as a result of her not being able to find work. So I hope she does find something else and maybe learns some humility in the process.

That's fair enough, but basically she has brought it all on herself - I certainly wouldn't employ her after the show of herself she has made recently and I'm not surprised the Met Office wanted to het rid of her pretty sharpish.

Her kids father isnt exactly short of a bob or two so I hardly think thats likely. She can blame noone but herself for losing her job.

Katie and the word humility can never co-exist in the same sentence with each other.....

She will no doubt have a short lived media career in the mould of your average reality contestant; plenty of fete openings (meeting and greeting Mavis's on the tombola) but she has rendered herself potentially unemployable to any company now.

She has embarrassed her employer and bought them ill repute, she has boasted about bedding married colleagues and has essentially shown that under the flirting, bitching and general bluster lies a lot of hot air and a pair of great big frilly bloomers. Also, apparently, she was not earning anywhere near 90k and has therefore lied about her salary and benefits package.

I genuinely don't think that someone with genuine business capability would need to turn themselves into a faux pantomime villian like this.

Just reading on Teletext that the Met Office have given her the boot after revelations about her private life! What goes around comes around eh?

AWWW!

My heart bleeds for her.

Perhaps she would be so kind as to bugger off back to her 'chums' in the south?

She must have done something seriously wrong to have been fired from the Met Office.... As a public sector body they wouldn't just have sacked her. There was something in the papers recently about fiddled expenses? Maybe that was why she was claiming to earn £90k a year.........
