Joe Dolce - Shaddapa Your Face.
Just kidding - At the moment I'm quite into "Steal My Sunshine" by Len. Must be the weather. |

By the way - I don't want to turn into one of those sad musical pedants (!) but I think that Jimmy The Hoover song was actually called "Tantalise".

They sure were!!
I still remember listening to Jimmy Savile's Old Record Club on Radio One and almost every title was "Blah, blah open brackets. Blah, blah, close brackets)". Those were the days ...... |

Whatever it's called though, I thought it was a pretty manky song - my favourite one-hit wonders would have to be: Chesney Hawkes - The One And Only (popular amongst 80s nights despite being released in the early 90s!) Scarlet - Independent Love Song (did the lyrics REALLY go, "I'll show you how to take me...go down go down"!?) Wannadies - You and Me Song (technically a 'no' hit wonder given that You and Me Song only reached No. 18) and, for pure piss-take novelty value: Spitting Image - The Chicken Song (unbeatable!) |

The One and Only is a godo tune.
he had a follow-up called "Am A Man Not A Boy" (or something very similar) which made about number 25 I think. Looking at some of the other suggestions, "Pop Muzik" is an excellent song. Prob by fave off the lists supplied so far. |

I have just noticed that, so far, we are mostly mentioning those tracks that got onto that "one Hit Wonders" cd as mentioned above.
I'm sure there must be many more great songs, that didn't make it on to this album, that we can class as great one hit wonders???? |
