Hi,

Now that ITv have launched their online watch again service for soaps and live streaming, will see a TV version ?

I understand the BBc iPlayer will be available on Tiscalli, like 4OD.

But I have not read any news about ITV

I don't think so as ITV have said the ITV Broadband service is advertisement funded and on TV ads can be skipped.

That hasn't stopped other providers.
Ads can be skipped anyway, if broadcasters can't figure a way of getting revenue then they may as well pack up and go home.

I'm sure it would be no difficulty to insert ads that can't be skipped into VOD content! If anything, VOD is an easy way around ads being skipped caused by the growth in PVRs.

Didn't ITV do some VOD tests on Virgin a couple of months ago? Sure I saw people reporting it
