Katie Conspiracy Theory!
PlasmaPete
13-06-2007
Katie has gone on the record in the NOTW to say that she was dumped by ex-husband Damian, for a younger model.

The name of his firm - www.mckinneyrogers.com - is now well known for all the wrong reasons. It must be embarassing for him.

Question is: did she plan it like that?

Answers on a postcard please!

As they say, there is no such think as bad publicity.

Katie came across as a thoroughly despicable excuse for a human being, she gets a news paper column.

She is fired from a job (the Met Office are putting quiet spin on it saying she failed probationary period) she gets public exposure.

She auditioned for Big Brother for 3 years solid (if reports are to believed she was standbye for one).

She somehow bullshits her way onto the Apprentice, but given the crappy production values is not surprising. She got to the final then tried to upstage SAS by turning the job down.

This woman is on a mission to be a z-lister. She want it. She is now positioning herself as the female Cowell, but better, because he is a fat bastard that might buy products from a shopping channel.

It will last about 3 months. Then, after her 15 minutes are over she will find it very very hard to find decent work.

She was on GMTV this morning and Fiona Phillips said - "oh you're not as bad as it's made out, you're really just a pussy cat" and Katie got quite cross about that one and said, "More of a lion than a puss cat, thank you." She doesn't want her USP ruined at this point.

Actually I quite like Katie. Hard working, determined, competent and highly lucid. Perhaps her greatest achievements are the so called 'seductions'. Given the poor quality of the 'product' that she had to work these were triumphs of sales and marketing.

However I really can't stomach this one -

Now that really is the pits.

I am sure if you put some researcher to work on the task you would be able to come up with a Katie Hopkins application form for every reality show there has been.

They should do a Dead Ringers Katie Special featuring her on every TV programme.

I really like the Apprentice but I think Katie and Tre are signs of the beginning of the end for the programme.

I don't think either of them really wanted the job ( reading between the lines of Tre's interviews) it isn't about being an Apprentice. Maybe this was true of Michelle Dewberry as well, or even Ruth Badger.

I believe some of the rejected candidates such as Andy, Jadine , Ghazal, Adam would have genuinely wanted the experience of working for SAS.

For the next series the producers really need to look beyond personalities and think about business potential. There will always be drama and interest if you put a bunch of strangers in house for 7 weeks and put them under pressure to complete regular tasks (Sounds familiar?).

But since this is meant to be about business then that rather than looks or personality should be paramount.

But if the applicant don't really want the job then the programme is devalued and becomes just another bickering reality show.
