I really like Gerry, he speaks the most sense. He is also kind hearted and looks after the ones being bullied. Poor guy, and nicky went at him with her scissors

It seems to be growing back quite quickly though...

I think it's usually a pretty good measure of a HMs merit, if you can go on their support thread and not feel like you have to dive behind the sofa every time you post.

Maybe it's the weather, but it's pretty grim in some of the other threads, people. Be afraid.

Just gave my two cent's worth in the cuddly toy thread, and it's got me thinking how damn cute Freddy is - I know some might say its sad that a 31 yr old man (29, or 30 if you believe Gerry ) has got so much love a soft toy, but it's his only thing from the outside world Gerry has with hm, and if it makes him happy, the leave him to it because he isnt doing anyone any harm. I think the monkey is so damn cute.... been calling it a bear for weeks, but the bunch of bananas I never really saw before gave it away the other week - doh! Really love the outfits Gerry has for him aswell - they always make me laugh!

Now then, regarding Gerry's hair...... it doesn't look too bad...... am getting use to it, its growing on me (would rather it grow on him, though, because short hair doesn't suit me..... ), but as long as he doesnt let ANYONE ELSE tamper with it again, it wont be long until its back looking thick and extra sexy again....!

I'm not sure. It was getting kind of ugly on one thread and I was defending my point, with, you know, complete sentences and manners, when 'poof!' the whole freaking thread disappeared.

When threads get too abusive, the Mods remove them - often when they've got personal, or people have said something racist/homophobic on them.

I slugged it out on the "Gerry assaulted Charley" thread, and it eventually got removed.

Gerry normally gets quite a few backers, but I'm sure there's a fairly willing cohort on this thread ready to defend him if necessary - usually because the "charges" against him are so ludicrous...

Count me in ... I'm more than happy to defend Gerry against lame accusations!

On the fugitive thread I mentioned, which was actually about Carole's grooming and looks-ism in general, it was getting pretty nasty. Lots of people were accusing the OP and a few other posters of everything from narcissism to classism to having a tail. Well, practically. Very strange.

The other one was: he might tell Nicky she's fat, and that might cause her to develop anorexia. He has issues about fat. Etc. Etc.

Did you know that Gerry was responsible for the First AND Second World War?! He wasn't even alive then, but some still blame him....... I'm starting to as well because he abused Charley and almost turned Nicky anorexic, so anything's possible, the swine.....!

Try to rememember though that some posters will deliberately attack another HM to draw attention from their favourite. IE from another appreciation thread:

"How about visiting a few Gerry threads and take a few pot shots at the open goal. "

Such a negative stance to take and unfortunately reflected badly to my mind on the HM concerned.
