I have a freeveiw box which i run to my tv via an rgb cable but i also run from the same box an rf lead to my bedroom so i can watch the same freeview channel in there.

Ive not tried yet but would it be possible to add aother freeview box on the rf lead in the bedroom if i set to a different frequency?

Im not sure if i can run an rf out into another box as rf in?

Yes, no problem, but most Freeview boxes don't have modulators.

I have two Freeview boxes (both twin tuner PVrs) in different rooms. I just have a passive splitter in the 1st room before the signal gets to the box.
I suspect you need a fairly strong signal (which we have fortunately) for this to work though.

my main freeview is a pvr hence wanting to take the signal from the rf out put rather than the input so i can watch recordings in the bedroom.

You can do what you suggest. The RF out from the first box will contain all the analogue and digital TV channels so provided the UHF channel you have chosen for it's output is well away from any of these the second box will just ignore it. As far as the second box is concerned it will appear to be just another analogue TV channel.

The only problems you may have are if the UHF channel you've chosen for the first box is too close to one of the digital channels and so causes interference at the second box. And if you DO need an RF out on the second box finding a clear channel for it which does not cause problems for the other channels coming up the lead from box 1 may be a pain.

It would be far better therefore for the second box to connect to the TV via SCART and not use RF at all. You can still loop through the aerial to the TV so you can still watch analogue or the output of box 1.

The other potential problem is one of signal loss in all the cabling and by going via the first box. If your digital signal is prety marginal that may lead to probelms at the second box. The usual advice for feeding multiple boxes is to use a masthead distribution amp and feed each location separately from a point as close as possible to the aerial. the least preferrable option is actually the one you propose. ie where you have the aerial fed down to the main TV and then daisy chained to another room. The extra cabling involved adds to signal loss and increases the chances of interference induced in to the leads.

Does your PVR have a modulator?

yes i already have the signal running to the bedroom and this works well i just want the abilty to turn oer from this room wihtout having to get up.

Before i moved i did have a video sender which had a remote relay in it but i get bad interference here so have had to come up with an alternative method.
