So predictable. He has made the wrong decision every series and I hope Simon leaves after a few months just like Michelle did.

Kristina would have stayed with him for years and worked so hard. It's a right joke.

Did siralan even see the same footage as us? Simon's a joke! He will be a disaster and the real shame is that he will have other opportunities if he put his rather feeble mind to it, but Christina might not - and that's simply because of the age thing.

A really crappy decision, Simon can't lead, thinks Tre is fantastic when Tre clearly isn't. The only reason the idea worked was because of Rory's design. Simon is no team worker, he's basically rubbish.

Still, it's only a joke job isn't it? It looks like AMS is a joke employer too. Simon will be out of there soon enough...

but he is just a bit of a drip I feel. he can't look people in the eyes. Rory came up with the design and the presentation, what did Simon actually do ?

He seemed out of his depth all the way through. Enthusiastic, keen, etc. etc. but like a rabbit stuck in the headlights. Kristina was miles better. Pathetic.

Kristina won that hands down. How the hell did Simon get the job? Rory carried that last task - left to Simon it would have been a complete disaster. The boat. lol

In fact, I'm so disgusted, I'm not going to bother watching the aftermath on 2.

I dunno, the importance of leadership has been hammered home in every episode, yet he gives the job to someone who isn't a leader of people! Still, he knows what he'd doing I suppose.

Why oh why did Kristina call the building The Phoenix? It's just makes you think of a working man's club up North!

The waves looked like big dildo's!

I think a boat design could have worked better if incorporated into a building correctly. As far as I could see, London would have several penises on its skyline with Rory's design (which is appropriate I guess, given who designed it).

Simon is a legend. Glad he won. He won because he has the brains and capabilities to take the company forward. He can learn....Its called the apprentice after all.

I think Sir Alan made the wrong decision. It should have been Kristina.

(I'll probably be proved wrong now by Simon doing really well )

Last year he was right. Ruth Badger is pointless in business. The previous year he was correct as well.

This year, Simon has talent, he's got potential and tonnes of know how but he's not better than Kristina. Kristina I believe lost it on age.

In the seaside town where I live is a hotel in the shape of a boat right by the harbour. It is largely regarded as a folly and a joke, also incredibly naff.

BBC News Story

Apparently Simon's father is a multi-millionaire businessman.

I personally wanted to Kristina to win as she showed a lot more potential and determination than wimpy Simon. I though she presented herself very well and professional

I don't know about previous years because I didn't watch them, but I think you're right about why she lost. I feel so sorry for her! She'd so much more of a man than Simon and is generally a lot better. Perhaps she isn't inspirational like him, but I don't really see that in him anyway. He's undisciplined, green, somewhat gullible, and his faith in the ridiculous Tre brings his judgement into question if nothing else at all does!

Like I said - it would depend on how the design is incorporated. As far as I can see, a phallus is no better.
