Exactly how I feel and i just hope kristina gets something bigger and better and Sir Alan realises his mistake
Good point. Kristina has shown herself to be very employable and hopefully something even better will come along for her, firstly because she deserves success and secondly so she can shove two fingers up to them.

Yes, I'm not watching You're Hired either Rugby Rose.

One of the interviewers the other week had Simon nailed as a massive under-achiever - given every advantage but never achieved very much. And he just loooks so wimpy and terrified the whole time.

Ugh!

They're stirring it on you're fired, Katie is in the audience and Kristina is obviously on the panel, they're showing a VT of her bitching..this is hilarious!

Wot a joke. The guy doesnt even make eye contact...
But Sir Alan never makes eye contact! I've seen him on Jonathan Ross and he barely looked at hime, and on You're Hired now he's barely looking at Adrian Chiles!

The 'waves' design was, to me, just gimmicky, and a real waste of space in such an expensive site.

Shivering puppy Simon did b*gger all in that task, he was clueless and guided in various ways by Tre, Rory and Jadine. No leadership skills whatsoever.

But why am I surprised he won.... SAS chose Michelle last year and look how well that went. His judgement on picking people is not the best.

However I think Kristina had a lucky escape. Who wants to toil away on naff products in Brentwood anyway.

I don't know about previous years because I didn't watch them, but I think you're right about why she lost. I feel so sorry for her! She'd so much more of a man than Simon and is generally a lot better. Perhaps she isn't inspirational like him, but I don't really see that in him anyway. He's undisciplined, green, somewhat gullible, and his faith in the ridiculous Tre brings his judgement into question if nothing else at all does!
Simon is also a Cambridge graduate, a year early with some commercial knowledge in the city and outside too. He has more to him beyond that but I still believe Kristina has that too but in 10 years time she will be in her late 40s so this isn't the place for her.

I don't see what age has to do with it. Alan Sugar is about 104. Kristina's a whippersnapper compared to him.

What you talking about? Sir Alan, Nick and Margaret are both a lot older than 40, as are a lot of business people. Kristina could have worked for him for decades.

They DID start working for SAS before they were 40 and they both were hired on the basis of requirement not a TV show.

Kristina would have been in there but I think if SAS could choose between someone he can mould over years and years as an allie and somebody who only has so many years but not the same academic and commercial background, he went for Simon.

I can't believe how annoyed people are over this. Especially as it has been widely reported in the press that Kristina got another job with Sir Alan anyway.

Simon did well. He led the team really well on the final and everyone got on, whereas Kristina did just seem to leave Adam and Natalie hanging. I especially didn't like the bit when the whole team were laughing about Adam behind his back.

I liked his building and his project seemed more thought through than Kristina's. Plus I like the fact he willingly dropped the idea he was kinda set on in favour of the one the group preferred.

Simon certianly isn't gormless or stupid, he may play the clown but he still gets the job done.

What a frightful agesit comment. Are you of the opinion that we should be put down once we hit 40?

Simon is a legend. Glad he won. He won because he has the brains and capabilities to take the company forward. He can learn....Its called the apprentice after all.
I agree - I liked Kristina as well and wouldn't be surprised if he offered her a job at some point - but I wanted Simon to win after watching tonights programme.

Yes that was the bit that put me off as well - I never liked the snobbery about Adam in previous shows but thought Kristina would have been above all that in the final - especially as Adam was just trying to help. I am glad Simon won. Didn't know she had been offered something for sure though - not surprised and I am glad if it is true.

If I remember correctly, SAS fired Jadine because he doesn't want to teach someone the basic fundamentals. He wanted the finished article. Is Simon the finished article? Well .. never mind it is the third series now and I am getting used to it.
One last question:

Is Simon "drop dead shrewd"?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SAS should have instructed the editors to drop this line from the introduction. The show has lost its credibility.

Last year he was right. Ruth Badger is pointless in business. The previous year he was correct as well.

This year, Simon has talent, he's got potential and tonnes of know how but he's not better than Kristina. Kristina I believe lost it on age.
Excellent point. I honestly hadn't considered that as a factor. To be perfectly frank we don't see the same footage as SAS. All we see are the edited highlights, we also don't get to work with these people on a day to day basis for 3-6 months. So maybe we should just accept that it's an entertainment programme and graciously applaud the winner.

Simon led his team well? I didn't see that. I saw him and Tre completely ignoring the other members and not even listening to most of their ideas at the beginning. Luckily Jadine talked him round. Then I saw Rory coming up with the dance idea and didn't see any of Simon's input into that either. Sir Alan clearly said Simon wasn't a good leader and from that task it was clear to see.
