How about his abysmal presenting on the shopping channel, or his incredibly crap choice of products? How about his inability to focus on what he's actually supposed to do, like forgetting to get a discount when he was buying the marble in the negotiating task? Or there was his sneaky side when he stabbed Andy in the back, or sat around calling Adam a muppet (obviously hadn't looked in the mirror recently).
He got through because Sugar and his cohorts were impressed with his Cambridge degree and investment banking background. A woman constestant who performed the way Simon did would have been booted out the door by the third episode. |

Fairplay, id have thought after last year, he wouldnt have even come close to making another mistake.
Kristina should be the apprentice. Simon may be incredibly intelligent, but does anyone else here think that the man is rather disorganised and frequently appeared to be out of his depth? (His non-existent direction of his team during the home shopping channel task being a good example.) I personally have not noticed evidence of Simon having any common sense whatsoever. Am I alone on this? |
