Well we'll all remember Katie - long after we've forgotten who Simon and Kristina are.

Look at Grace from Big Brother last year - being the most hated woman in Britain for several weeks didn't seem to do her any harm.

I fail to see why anyone would feel sorry for this woman. She plainly chose the route she wanted to take and stuck with it.

She was incredibly nasty about several people, especially Kristina, and she thoroughly deserved what she got.
I'm not usually keen on any form of humiliation, but in this case I'll make an exception!
To be honest I think Katie's skin is thick enough to take it and I don't think she cares what anyone thinks of her.

How was that a mistake exactly? Tre's big idea of the naff ship wasn't even used. I actually rate Tre but he wasn't very good in the last task at all.
All past tasks showed that Tre had some good ideas - which was more than most people had. katie could handle him - not least as they had a mutual respectthing running. I would grab the ideas man. Simon ends up taking an idea that Rory comes up with which happens to be OK for SAS but you wouldn't have bet on Rory getting it in a billion years. Not sure the ship is a bad idea compared to a wave either.

Even if you think Tre is difficult so are Jadine and Adam and Rory and they have far less upside. I would rather have Tre .It also splits up Tre and Simon which leaves someone who has had bad ideas without the person he relied on . You can hope Simon will be lead astray by someone like Jadine, Rory or Adam, without Tre to say when he sees a dumb idea.

Kristina goes for Naomi who is more competemt and relaiable but is that the top priority - especially as you can have Lohit if Naomi goes?

Actually I remember hearing about her getting beaten up by some drunken lout who recognised her.

I see your point though.

I'm not disputing that Tre had good ideas in this series but it still remains that when it came to the final his idea was pedestrian at best - possibly because he was no longer in the running for the job so the fire had gone from his belly.

Sir Tat's comments were totally out of order. Who is he to say that she is unemployable. He didn't think so last week when he put her through to the final last week. The bloke is just a bad loser who was made to look a mug on national television by a woman, and that's why he's so bitter. And regarding his comments about not employing her if he knew how bitchy she was, what a crock! Funny how he didn't have a moral issue with one his candidates (Kristina Bejesus) putting lollies in children's hands and then demanding money off the parents! Yeah, very ethical.

The bloke aint got a clue. He thinks shrewd is a cloth in Turin.

Sir Tat is a lightweight and needs to be fired before the show dies a death. Two years running now, the bloke has chosen weak candidates as winners, so how can his judgement be said to hold any water.

Just curious, couldn't Tat's comments be regarded as defamation of character, as his comments in no way reflect her abilities/capabilities? Maybe i'm wrong but didn't every candidate bitch about their fellow candidates each week - it wasn't just Katie who did it, she was just better at it than the others which is why so many of her comments are so memorable. Therefore why is Katie less employable than any other candidate? On what grounds does Sir Tat base his claim?

Mistake was not grabbing Rory - not that anybody could have predicted that given his third out in second week track record. Devised not only the building but came up with the flashy opera dancing presentation. Ultimately, SAS probably had seen enough of Kristina and Simon to have made an informed decision on his final choice regardless of the final task. Such a shame for Kristina, wonderful and talented business woman. And to think, Simon would have been fired if Tre had brought him into the boardroom after the shoe advert task. Tsk. Shame.

I felt Katie was just playing the role of the pantomime villain for the cameras, and in some way, I don't see what's wrong with this. She's carving a media image for herself just in the way SAS has carved his image. You can tell sometimes what he's saying isn't of his own volition and he clearly plays up the British Bulldog-type character for the show.

Also, I reckon he was aware of the sorts of things Katie was saying, or was certainly aware of her ruthlessness and capability of making such remarks, and I don't believe he wouldn't employ someone like that. As he has said, business needs ruthless people too. I think he was covering his back because Katie was obviously his first choice for the final. So by saying how he would never employ such a person makes him look better and dispels any suggestion that he would employ sheerly ruthless people in order to profit in business.

Katie had obviously made the decision that her unique selling point is going to be in her nasty ruthless one liners - they got her noticed and had she left it at that she would have made it to the final and who knows, may even have won if she fitted in with Sir Alan's idea of someone who could deal on the property side of his business.
However by deciding to go down nasty ruthless side on a personal level she dug herself into this man eating home wrecker "if I want something or someone I'll do anything to get it" hole.
She may well be always remembered but whether this will work to her favour in the long term is debatable. Playing pantomime villain can only get you so far and if the media career doesn't take off as planned, what are her chances of being taken seriously in business now.

I couldn't care less about all the theories here. I just loved it. He wasn't hard enough on her.

If she'd been serious about the job she'd have had a plan worked out re moving and kids.

For all her scheming skills, Katie didn't realise her best way out of this situation was to make a simple apology.

She's not that clever, really, but I thought that all along.

That is the point. Nobody that intelligent would have made that mistake (and no matter whether I like Katie or not, I'm certainly not blinkered enough to deny that she is very canny.) Also, this would be one of the first things a parent would consider! That's a big part of why I am skeptical about this whole thing. It's out of character and doesn't ring true.

I have to say I have no idea who you're talking about, so she's probably not as famous as she likes to think she is.

I think you misheard. It was Grace's friend who was attacked and Grace got hurt when trying to help him, and it had nothing to do with BB. And Grace herself largely rehabilitated herself with the public by going on Cirque de Celeb, which was a better show-case for her talents. The public voted her into first place.

Um... I distinctly remember reading it in some trashy magazine (I was bored during lunch hour, that's my excuse).

I don't know if the magazine didn't have the right info at the time, or if it was another occasion, but I remember that Grace was left scarred - so they said, anyway - and the article basically stated that someone decided they didn't like her and lamped her one. It went on about how Grace's image as a ''bitch'' in the house was supposedly the only reason. Their words, not mind; I didn't watch the show so can't comment on that bit. Just reporting what I read.

Why didn't she (and others) turn up for the final task?
I found that interesting as well, I understabd there were only eight invited back but they must have made a decision to exclude Katy

he said if he had seen her bitching he would have fired her ages ago (paraphrasing)

surely he sees the rushes etc?
I was going to say! does this mean that he's hired Simon without seeing the footage that we saw? Surely not! Isn't £100K a bit much to bet on someone blind?

The mention of the scar means we're talking about the same incident, so it sounds like the magazine reported it wrong.

SAS was brilliant on Your Hired. Katie peed him off big time and deserves a telling off for all the back biting. Well Done SAS on saying what should have been said to Katie a long time ago
I know - I'm disgusted with myself for enjoying it so much!! (The more flirty and girly she tried to look on the afterprog, the more slimy and devious she actually appeared - it was great!!) Katie's 'fame' will last - ooh, all of four minutes I should think......

I think that woman has polluted my mind, there was an ad for Pino Grigio on TV last night and the voiceover sounded just like her - surely not.
