...another one to work for him. How apt. Although to tell the truth it was a Hobsons choice really between the two of them. This years lot did not impress me and I wasn't really bothered who won.

Hope it improves next year.

....those buildings were damn ugly. When I saw them, I thought that's definitely the end of Simon.

Ironic really....Jet Set Willy boy ends up working in real estate....nowhere near computers or Amstrad as he so badly wanted....

Depending on the angle they really looked funny. A couple of batteries might have put a bit of life into them.

Burj al Arab. Bloody big hotel in Dubai, a 7-star one apparently. Yes, it did resemble it a bit. But I thought they were quite cool, if a bit phallic.

Simon's building looks nothing like it, it looks like this:

Those buildings were an embarrassment and a joke more than anything.

Although I should add that Simon doesn't have the nous to be embarrassed. It's like the TV selling task all over again.
It's so bad it is funny - but that's not business; it's comedy.

I thought Simon's building was amazing, and the artist impression of the apartment made it look wonderful as ell.

Kristina's was boring!

Both did a great job of selling their ideas.

Sir Alan didn't want to see the best building he wanted to see who could sell an idea!

Preferred Kristina's, Simon's looked too much like the Gherkin.

Kristina's looked unique.

I would have been cheeky and designed a giant Amstrad GX and Emailer Phone building...Alan's face would be a picture.
