I'm a big Kristina fan and she's a do-er, but Sir Alan should be looking for an apprentice with big ideas to pull Amstrad out of the rut it's currently in. Simon, despite sometimes appearing quite gormless, seems more in touch with the current technology market and innovations that Kristina.

You get the feeling that Kristina would do whatever Sir Alan asked of her extremely well, but Simon would come up with things that he never even knew he needed.

Kristina would fit in well with the guys who did the interviews and would be a well respected colleague with good sales drive and excellent project management and negotiation skills etc, but I'm sure Sir Alan already has loads of people like that.

Simon's a bigger risk and could crash spectacularly, but he's more what Sir Alan's companies need right now.
