Was it my imagination but was Paul quite useful and helpful in the final task ??

Yep
In hindsight, i dont think that he was that bad.
He just had the worst week that the Apprentice has ever seen

Paul tried to be a bit too clever in his task and remember he did not have the delightful Katie distracting him this time.

I actually quite warmed to him. Its a pity he bought a tonne of cheese.

I think Sir Alan liked him as well but when he lost money and bought cheese at Macro he had to go.

He also redeemed himself when he described Katie as only a 6/10.

Paul did redeem himself. I still think he's a plank, but he's not as useless as he appeared in the France task.

I noticed that Adam didn't get an awful lot of thanks for coming up with the Phoenix idea.

Dare I say it Rory wasn't to bad either. I was glad they went with his design and not Tre's. Cue more hissy fits.

.. Sugar claimed to have had high hopes for Paul, thinking his military background would be a strong asset.

I thought Paul was such a sh*te to Adam. He looks down his nose at everyone. I thought Rory was a great asset to Simon's team.

Yes, he was. Again. No need for it.

He managed to put his differences with Kristina aside though. (Mostly by not being in the same room as her most of the time).

He did seem to be useful, but I think it was more talk than actual action. His most inspired idea to Kristina for the building was "a box...boringly!"

He may have some technical planning expertise but his creativity and design ideas were rather lame. The end design bore no resemblance whatsoever to his original models and plans.

He still is and will always be a bit of a pr@t in my eyes.

Didn't think he was that great in the task. He was obviously desperate to prove he wasn't the waste of space he'd earlier proved to be...which would explain his eagerness.

He was also still putting far too much energy into trying to sideline Adam.

Not forgetting for a trained planner or architect (or whatever ) most of his ideas were cr@p, anyway.

So, all in all, no, he hasn't redeemed himself at all.

Paul did redeem himself after he dumped Katie because he found her in bed with a married man. He was manipulated by Katie by trying to get Katrina and Adam fired.Big mistake,he took on the wrong woman to the boardroom.Did any of you see Katies face when she heard that Adam got fired?

I agree, he was good in the last task. As he pointed out, he was professional enough to put his differences with Kristina aside and perform to his best. He rose in my estimation.

Rory's design was fantastic, knocked spots off the other team's design, and was probably what overall won the game. I think a building like that would look fabulous by the river in London. He is incorrect that there are no iconic buildings on the South Bank though. I happen to find the GLC building quite iconic, if not as big.

I nearly made that mistake the other day. And by the way, SHE's a SHE, not an IT!
