If Katie were employed by the makers of Stella Artois tomorrow, I would immediately boycott the product forever. Even though it would nearly kill me to do so. I'd switch to Grolsch, or such like. And encourage all my friends to do the same.

What would you do? Would you boycott the products/services of her next employer? I seriously would/will, given the opportunity.

We live in a very bad mixed-up world, where people like Katie think they can progress by treating other humans abysmally. She sets a terrible example to children, not least her own children. I do not think she should prosper from treating people the way she has, and I will boycott anything associated with her.

So if she does appeal and get her job at the Met Office back, will you stop watching weather forecasts???

For heavens sake chill out. There are many people a millions times nastier than Katie working in the City! What precisely is her crime - apart from giving the nation a hell of a lot of entertainment over the last 10 weeks.

I should note, this is commonly known as the "Man Utd/Vodafone" effect. Even though they are no longer sponsor, I have friends who avoid Vodafone services like the plague. I even have a mate who refuses to buy Sharp electronics, and they stopped sponsoring more than 10years ago!

I really dislike Katie, but I wouldn't go so far as to boycott any products made by her new employers, I think that's a little too extreme for me.

Are you Katie?

I take it you don't want to have a debate about business ethics, being a good role model and corporate social responsibility then???

As for hatchet job, I disagree. You only need to search for "live by the sword, die by the sword" on here to realise that she got some of her own medicine.

I didn't like the woman but I wouldn't boycott her new company. That's a bit extreme.

I'm really amused by all these pathetic Anti-Katie posts. People act like she is some mass-murderer Get over it - she played the bitch for a reason.

That's going a tad far. She was the nasty pantomine villan, glad to see the back of her but why should a whole firm who probably employs many other people suffer. The Apprentice was good tv.

Why on earth give her more publicity by boycotting products? Best to just let her drift back into obscurity

How utterly ridiculous. Katie had a role that she played up to, and very entertaining it was too. I think there are people out there who have done worse things who you could boycott - Leslie Grantham, for example, who played Dirty Den on EastEnders, killed a man in cold blood for money; Roman Polanski can't go back to the US because he has failed to serve his time for serious offences against an underage girl, etc - these are the kind of people whose work I might choose to avoid (in Polanski's case I personally do, seeing as he hasn't served his time). All Katie has done is be a bit of a cow on a reality TV show.

And that stuff about her children is so holier than thou it is unbelievable. You have no proper idea what kind of mother she is, and no right to judge.

Oh for god's sake, get over yourself please!! This isn't real life it's a TV programme masquerading as reality. So please stop being so emotional about it - boycotting things indeed. As for your Man U/Voda/Sharp comparison, well that is just the childish behaviour I'd expect from men who become die hard football fans, unable to allow common sense into their heads.

And anyway please tell me what she did that was so abysmal? She made a few snid remarks about a few people behind their backs. Grow up if you don't think that already happens in life - from the playground to the boardroom.

Also Tre was vile and constantly swore at others. But we should let him off because he is male

She was on BBC News in the early hours of this morning helping to review the papers.

She is obviously yet another Z list celebrity already.

Crumbs! you would boycott stuff just for that?

Do you boycott all products/services for the reasons you mention or are you just a hypocrite who needs to get a life.
